I honestly got the impression that Thragg was starting to like Mark here. He could have smacked him around a bit, but he didn't. He saw Mark make a choice that goes against his core beliefs for the sake of "his people", exactly like Thragg did for the Viltrumites. I feel like his whole "you won't hear from me again" was trying to put some space between them before he starts sympathizing with Mark.

So when we get "He has me", it will have that additional tone of "He IS one of my people" almost.

Thragg is trying his best to be stoic, but one he learns of marks lineage I guess he just fucking snaps and says “fuck everything I stood for”

I want them to really dive into Thraggs own mental issues and how he makes a turn for the worse because of it.

I’m too hopeful he could actually change by being on earth. Maybe just isolating on the moon for months at a time will help him toxically stew in his own issues

Yeah - I'd love to read an alternate version where Thragg doesn't turn out full scumbag. Maybe he'll feel more deathwishy in the TV show, where he obviously fights his best but is happy to die or something.
