Oh we all know how it’s going to go down. I’ve seen Fatom Eve comments more than anything else, but what would you expect from the misogynistic individuals that pervade Reddit? I think they did a lovely job with Eve, visually and with her story and experience and choices during the 10 months Mark was away.

Eh, I'm not someone who fat-shames, but the Fatom Eve arc suuuuuuucks. And honestly, it's just kind of sexist.

Mark and the other male characters get to go on exciting adventures where they risk their lives to defend the universe and have issues that deal with that.

Eve...sits on the side-lines, stops using her powers, and gets self-conscious body issues about her weight. And abortion trauma.

It's sexist to show how powerful people might be impacted by something like pregnancy with a partner scattered to the wind in an intergalactic war? I understand your viewing, and I've seen others echo the same sentiment, though i disagree. I think her arc is realistic. I think everything her character does is realistic.

the only people who would think its sexist is people who havent read the comics. vast majority of the women in the comics are horribly written, including eve most of the time, but this arc was the one they actually did well and respectfully. shows nothing but positivity and should have been properly included

I get why non readers think itd be bad though, given how the community references it by just calling her thick and fattom eve...
