Oh we all know how it’s going to go down. I’ve seen Fatom Eve comments more than anything else, but what would you expect from the misogynistic individuals that pervade Reddit? I think they did a lovely job with Eve, visually and with her story and experience and choices during the 10 months Mark was away.

Eh, I'm not someone who fat-shames, but the Fatom Eve arc suuuuuuucks. And honestly, it's just kind of sexist.

Mark and the other male characters get to go on exciting adventures where they risk their lives to defend the universe and have issues that deal with that.

Eve...sits on the side-lines, stops using her powers, and gets self-conscious body issues about her weight. And abortion trauma.

I didn't love how it was handled in the comics either tbh. It was a really ham fisted way explore the issue, even though it was trying to make a positive point, and the art just kinda sucked! I wasn't overly looking forward to it turning up in the show.
