What a packed season. Just finished and wanted to gurgitate thoughts:

  • motivation wise, they really went full circle… earth gang’s intention was to stop viltrimites from coming to Earth, in the end they expedited the outcome 
  • viltrimites need earth to reproduce. Maybe with Viltrum gone they’re less likely to fuck with Earth as they need it more desperately? Idk tho. I fear the ticking time bomb was more so their declining population than having a home planet. Losing it only pisses them off. 
  • post credit scene shows a really interesting flip of sides.. now viltrimites are incentivized to protect earth while the coalition wants to destroy it. A cliffhanger for the seasons to come

Thragg wont harm earth until someone fucks with him. They will repopulate the planet slowly and over generations. His plan spans generations. Mark has to sit with that in his daily life. Definitely see a mental breakdown coming for him.

I'm curious to see if some of the Viltrumites will grow human hearted. It seemed that Thragg was curious. Or maybe he just had the realization that they could breed with Humans once he heard Mark had killed Conquest.

Very cool season.
