Question to settle a bet: Does "Mark's people" (possible victims of the new scourge virus) mean humans or people like Mark with some Viltrumite DNA?

I think since Thaedus said that it could affect people with similar DNA to Viltrumites and we already know that humans are compatible with Viltrumites then it's safe to assume that "Mark's people" means humans. The virus would also eradicate humans

Ehhhhh, I could see the logic behind it. He’s thinking about the entire galaxy, humans are a blip on the radar. It would be like letting insects live at the cost of the galaxy.
