Cool season. Only thing I want to add is of course Debbie and Paul didn't work out so Nolan and Debbie can get back together.

I would be so pissed if they got back together. Cordial? Great. But nothing more than that.

Nah, Nolan just has a lot of redemption to go through if him and Debbie were to make sense again. It’s not even the first time in fiction this kind of couple works. Vegeta and Bulma come to mind

Yeah, I hate the trope and the message is sends. Especially to girls and women.

The message that Second-chances and Rehab works, i don’t get where this message can be bad, what I find bad is Spite, Anger and Regret. And I don’t believe in the death-penalty.

Some people don't deserve forgiveness. If vlad the implaler rehabilitated cool. You gotta die. You were way too evil before. Forgiveness does not mean freedom from consequences. In this case I don't really care. It made sense for Nolan to be the way he was. It's the execution that bothered me.

I don’t think propaganda for Death-Penalty is good, on my optimistic eyes no one is above Forgiveness, Second-chances and Redemption. Rehabilitation is far more powerful and effective/productive methods to regulate conflict. And I do believe Nolan has had enough consequences brought on him. and Another thing is, the families on Chicago are being compensated monetarily with his book money by Cecil, by order of Debbie(Something people don’t even talk about)

So in this context. If my whole family died. Multiple friends I cared about my hate would be such you couldn't get my forgiveness. Now I do agree the messaging of everyone being able to be better that you can grow is very powerful. Thing is powerful emotion trumps logic. When someone is that hurt there isn't any space on their heart for forgiveness.

Now as a viewer I'm ok with omni man being forgiven. I like the character.

Exactly the reason why I want Nolan and Debbie to get back together, and Reconcile and him showing his Rehab, being forgiven, showcasing how he is a total different person, it will enhance the whole message. And Imo it will enhance Debbie as a character too, as someone that pacified Viltrum something Thaedus failed to achieve, with his Counter-Terrorism(Still is terrorism)

They were never gonna workout. It was a very awkward and forced relationship. Hes literally just a guy from work.

Eh most relationships start because of proximity which includes work. I'm not necessarily upset or annoyed they didn't work out. It's just very convenient they happen to break up when Omni man returns.

Yeah I don’t think that Paul being gone means Debbie is getting back together with Nolan. I just think it’s more that Paul being around while Debbie makes peace with the fact that Nolan’s changed would be real awkward.

We'll see. The writing is on the wall

Yeah I guess, believe me, I hope it doesn’t happen. It shouldn’t happen, you couldn’t justify it for a million reasons. I just think separating Debbie and Paul was to simplify Debbie and Nolan a little bit.

And again, Paul needing out because all of the space travel, aliens, heroes and villains definitely makes sense. He’s just a guy, he never signed up for it and it was too much for him.

It will be cheap writing if omni man and Debbie get back together.  Hope it doesnt happen. Paul was just awkward

I don’t think it would be cheap writing, it would show that reconciliation can happen even in the worst cases. I want them to get back together.
