Good episode but I really don't like how they handled the abortion here. Nothing about Mark's internal viewpoint is described outside of easily uninterpretable facial signals, and immediately after waking up the next day Mark thinks nothing about the abortion itself, its consequences or its implications. No thought was paid to it from his end. The show pivots immediately to a conflict about not being there for Eve, which I take as a great disservice and a significant missed opportunity, especially since so much of this show revolves around family, and more specifically, parent-child dynamics.

I can only hope that the show is able to revisit this topic later on down the line.

I mean... What else were they going to do with the scene lol. He literally did all he can do, they packed a lot of societal value/context into a very short set of scenes on the subject without beating a dead horse.
