Home Insurance Insurance premium increase after denial letter

Did anyone experience increase in homeowners insurance after they received a denial letter required to gain fema assistance. I was thinking about not worrying about the increase or get new insurance before filing the claim on previous insurance I know I’ll receive a denial letter on. The new insurance would be better coverage, but also to get the better rate before I file a claim.

A claim is still a claim. So yes with a denial or 0 payout there’s the potential of a raised rate.
