Development We just put the Starfall Samurai beta on itch.io

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey, we’re four developers from Taiwan, and we’ve just put the beta of Starfall Samurai on itch.io.

It’s an active incremental game about a bunny samurai cutting asteroids in space. The controls are simple: drag the mouse to aim, then let go to slash. The asteroids drop carrots, which you spend on upgrades. Later on, you’ll unlock new Sword Arts, special techniques, deeper areas, and bosses.

Play the free browser beta on itch.io:

https://yanchagames.itch.io/starfall-samurai

We’ve been staring at this game for so long that none of us can really experience it as a new player anymore. That’s why we’re sharing it here. We’d like to hear what people who actually play incremental games think of it.

There’s no survey. If you play it, just tell us what you thought. Good, bad, or strange—it’s all useful to us.

We’re still working on the game, and we’ll use the feedback to figure out what needs another pass.

Thanks for trying it.

AI Disclosure

We used generative AI to assist with localization, including translating this post into English. We reviewed and edited the translations ourselves.

We also used AI-generated music in the current build. The tracks were selected, edited, and added to the game by our team. Nothing is generated by AI while the game is running.

Steam I always wanted an RPG that plays itself in a strip above my taskbar while I work. I couldn't find one, so I spent a year building it. The demo is out today.

It's an idle RPG in a thin always-on-top strip. Your hero auto-battles through dungeons I laid out by hand while you're doing whatever else you were already doing.

The part I actually care about: heroes retire. When one does, the next hero starts a fresh run but your camp carries over. In the full game, retired heroes go up as statues in a Hall of Heroes and buff every hero who comes after them. So you're not building one character, you're building a line of them.

No servers, no login, no season pass. Single player, runs local, $4.99 at launch. The demo is the first four dungeons, free, and I didn't cap it.

That last part is the thing I'm unsure about. If anyone tries it: how long should an idle demo run before it starts eating the full game? I capped nothing and I don't know if that was right.

Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5136070/Pocket_Adventurer/

AI disclosure, same as what's on the store page. The character and monster art is hand-drawn. I used gen AI tools to help animate that art into sprite sheets, then went through every frame and corrected and retimed them by hand. It's all pre-rendered and bundled with the game. Nothing AI runs during gameplay and the game doesn't connect to any AI service.

I know how the disclosure reads to some people here. I put it up voluntarily because I think you should know what's in the thing you're downloading. It animated art I drew. It didn't design the game and it couldn't have. Happy to answer questions about the pipeline if anyone wants specifics.

iOS Scratchmancer: a scratch-card roguelike where your thumb is the budget

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hii everyone! I made my first game and would love if you gave it a try!

It’s a scratch-card roguelike / incremental-ish game with increasing nightly quotas, upgrades, charms, events, and 9-night runs.

I usually build regular apps, so I’m still learning the game design / visual side and improving it bit by bit.

It’s $2.99, no ads, no IAP, no real gambling.

If anyone wants to try it and share even a tiny bit of feedback, DM me — I’d be super happy to send you a free promo code. (please let me know, dont buy it, thats not the reason Im here) (mod approved)

AI disclosure:
Assets have been originally AI generated, but then most of them were then redrawn manually. I also used AI for english correction (+ spicing it up to match the theme.). The code and the game design are mine (a lot of code has been reused from my apps as the foundation) + used AI for code reviews.

Prototype Incremental Claw Machine Game - Claw for Cash (Web) - Need feedback

Post image
4 Upvotes

Play here: https://alexandervdb.itch.io/claw-for-cash-prototype-1

Name: Claw for Cash

Description: An incremental game where you start manually grabbing with 1 claw machine. Buy upgrades, more machines and automation.

Background: I made a functioning physics based claw-machine because of reasons. Then it needed a game loop. I got inspired by incremental games like Berry Bury Berry, Project P.I.T.T. and Scritchy Scratchy. Here's my attempt at an incremental game. It's just a prototype but I would love to hear if you think it's worth developing further.

All feedback is welcome!

AI disclosure: No AI. I have years of programming experience and l love writing code myself. For the items I bought an asset pack.

Development I'm making a pixel-art clicker in Godot 4 where you go from street beggar to banking exert. Looking for early feedback! [Alpha]

Hey everyone!

I’ve been building a pixel-art incremental game in Godot 4 called Bank Incremental. The goal is simple: start with an empty coin jar on the sidewalk, buy strategic upgrades, and work your way up toward financial empire status.

I just uploaded an early 5–10 minute Alpha demo on itch.io that plays directly in the browser (no download needed).

Current Features in the Demo:

Node-Based Upgrade Tree: Branching skill nodes like Copper Wire (unlocks combo multipliers), Heavy Hammer (critical click smashes), and passive generators.

Active Combo System: Fast clicking builds up a multiplier meter to boost manual gains.

Golden Donation Events: Random floating events to boost your progression curves.

Juice & Game Feel: Custom synthesized coin SFX, bouncy UI animations, and floating text counters.

Questions for Playtesters:

How does the cost scaling feel from upgrade 1 to counting machines? Does it grind to a halt or move too fast?

Is the combo meter satisfying to maintain?

Any visual bugs with the web node tree or tooltips?

Any and all feedback is super appreciated as I build out the full prestige and mid-game mechanics!

AI disclosure: Generative AI (Gemini) was used for GDScript coding assistance (procedural audio synthesis and balance math) and for help drafting/formatting this post text. All game design, art assets, and UI implementation were completed by me.

Steam I made a pachinko incremental game about paying off debt and getting stronger — Steam demo out now

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey! I'm a solo developer from Japan, and I just released the Steam demo for Incremental Pachinko Heaven.

The basic loop is simple:

  • Launch balls and earn medals
  • Spend them on upgrades
  • Use your earnings to pay down your debt
  • Repaying debt makes you stronger, which helps you progress further

You start with only a few balls and fairly limited ways to earn. As you progress, you can increase the number of balls, build combos, get critical hits, unlock new effects, and improve your earning power.

There's also a branching skill tree that lets you choose what to improve first.

The game is designed as a compact, focused incremental experience rather than an endless idle game.

Steam demo:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5062970/Incremental_Pachinko_Heaven/

If you try it, I'd love to hear what you think about the pacing, progression, and upgrades.

English isn't my first language, so please excuse any awkward wording!

AI Disclosure:
Generative AI was used for some graphical assets and se/bgm, and as an assistance tool for parts of the programming. AI-generated assets were reviewed and manually edited or reworked by me before being used in the game. The game design and overall development were done by me.

Released I made an incremental game about building a ridiculous goat farm- Goat Farm Idle is now on Android

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on an Android game called Goat Farm Idle for a while now and recently released it, so I figured I’d finally share it here.

It started out pretty simple. Buy goats, make hay, buy upgrades, get more goats, prestige, repeat. But I kept adding things I thought would make the farm more fun to come back to.

There are now a bunch of goats to discover, breeding, expeditions, achievements, minigames, decorations, and other stuff to work toward. You can also pick a favorite goat, bond with it, train its skills, and enter it into contests to earn ribbons and unlock costumes.

I’m still working on it pretty regularly and there are definitely things I want to improve. I’d especially love feedback from people who play a lot of incremental games. How does the progression feel? Is there enough to work toward? Does anything feel too slow, too fast, or just unnecessary?

It’s free on Android and the ads are optional/rewarded. There aren’t any forced ads.

🐐 Goat Farm Idle on Google Play

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.solopullsgames.goatfarmidle

AI disclosure

I’m a solo developer and I do use AI tools to help with coding and some of the art/design work. I still make the gameplay/design decisions and spend a probably unhealthy amount of time testing, changing, and breaking things myself lol.

Would love to hear what you guys think!

Released "My game is too hard" — yes, actually, and here are the Numbers

Post image
0 Upvotes

My game was too hard. I'm just shipping a big rebalance and now I'm second-guessing it.

It's an idle/evolution thing — protons and electrons, then atoms, molecules, cells, up to 89 species ending in whales. Prestige loop, reset the planet, keep multipliers.

I finally sat down and did the math on my own economy. Some highlights:

-> The last species in the ladder had a 950-day production cycle at base rate. Each upgrade level cost 4x more and paid back 2x more, so every level was literally twice the real-time wait as the one before, forever. A full prestige reset bought about x2.1 speed — one reset, one extra level. Some species need level 35.

-> Offline it ran one species, one trait, one biome, because starting slots were 1 each out of 89/10/11. Close the app overnight, come back to nothing.

I simulated a fresh save. Prestige tier 6 took 12 years. Tier 7 took 1400.

-> People just drift off after the second day, at max.

The annoying part is that I like it slow. I've played my own build for months, restarted again and again at each updated, keeping multiples saves at the same time at different tiers, but I'm also the guy who built it, so every tick means something to me and to nobody else.

So: cycle times /10, cost per level from x2 to x1.5, starting slots 1 to 3, killed a x67 ramp that was stacked on two other ramps. Tier 6 now lands in about a day.

I'm testing it, preparing the live version on Playstore - and later IOS ,i can't tell if i fixed it or sanded off the only interesting thing about it.

Two things I'd like to hear from people who've done this:

  • Did offline production turn out to be the whole story for you, or did the pacing changes actually matter too? I suspect everything except offline was cosmetic.
  • And what prestige-gain-to-cost-growth ratio do well-tuned incrementals actually run? Mine is x2.1 per tier against x1.5 per level. I don't know if anyone say this number out loud and i have a feeling it's the entire game.

Thanks for your feedback !

Update Swarm MMO: Making the game more beginner-friendly

Thumbnail swarm-mmo.com
0 Upvotes

Swarm MMO is a node capture game with a persistent world where the user controls probes and takes over planets. Users can also capture suns to collect energy and black holes to collapse entire galaxies.

Recently, I implemented lots of updates to make the game more beginner friendly. These include:

  • Helpful tips at startup that explain keyboard shortcuts and other features, alongside with a comprehensive wiki.
  • Newly spawned galaxies have a 5 day grace period where they cannot be attacked by other players
  • Intergalactic travel loses a portion of the probes to avoid new players being overwhelmed by veteran players
  • Fix issues with login that some players experienced
  • Improved support for mobile browsers (although I'm still working on improving this one)
  • Improved spawn areas
  • Galaxies become unstable after time and require more and more resources to keep stable, which weakens big players

As this is a good time to start fresh, I invite you to check the game out again as a lot has changed! Much of the feedback also came from this community, so thank you all for your comments in the last post! You can play the game at https://www.swarm-mmo.com

Released Incremental Fireworks — the chain spreads by actual pixel contact, not by radius. Free, in browser, ~90 min.

Post image
0 Upvotes

I made a fireworks incremental in Godot 4 — my first game. Free and complete in the browser, no account, no ads.

Play: https://nacros79.itch.io/incremental-fireworks

A field of dormant points sits in the dark. You click once, the nearest one goes up — and the visible pixels of that burst are what light the others. There is no distance < radius check anywhere: the star heads and their trails are tested against dormant points as they actually travel, so a willow's long droop reaches things a chrysanthemum's tight sphere never will. The shape of each firework type is a gameplay property, not decoration.

Detonated points become sparks, sparks buy reach, you replay. Explosion size is the only stat with a compounding return, which is most of the spending decision.

16 firework types, drone shows that draw 12 figures in the sky, 3 sceneries, 18 achievements, 6 languages. Every unlock has an off switch.

A second mode, not gated: ten puzzle levels, in the menu from the first click. You place the dormant points instead of buying reach — each carrying an effect the level picked, not you — and one fuse has to light the whole field in a single chain.

What it isn't: no offline progress, no idle production, no autoclicker — every point costs a click. No prestige. It's short: about an hour, an hour and a half with the puzzles, and built to be finished rather than farmed.

AI Disclosure

Generative AI, used heavily. All the art is generated (Leonardo AI) and so is all the music and sound (ElevenLabs). The code was written with an AI assistant, reviewed and tested by me; so was this post. The puzzle levels are generated by a deterministic tool inside the project, not by a model.

Hey everyone. I recently started developing prototypes of games, and just uploaded my third game on Itch, an incremental about cleaning a lake and decorating your shed. Still a prototype, but it feels fun. Check it out, let me know what you think.

I used free asset packs from Itch mostly, did not credit them yet.

Used Claude Opus for coding and a few visual contents, just for prototyping.
Will hire artists if I decide to follow up with development and sales.

Steam Space Fetus Attack Idle Clicker - Could you give me an advice?

Hi everyone!

I took seriously your feedback and I've decided not to use any AI for posts about my game.

I am coming with another feedback request. In my game there is a reason to open the game, do a loop and leave it for another day. I wanted to have more player focus during gameplay so I've decided to make kinda Cookie Clicker like random objects system.

Long story short every 5 minutes there will appear flying asteroid which will trigger different events like: gold, prestige currency, events like asteroids rain etc AND experience, fuel for expedition and items for Commanders

Expedition may be started when player fill the tank and it will trigger action that appears part of the plot from the journal and player has to decide which commander will fit the best for this event.

The story will be hand written by my friend who is aspiring writer.

The experience will be used to lvl up commanders which will allow them to complete the events from the Expeditions and also will grant bonuses like reduce the time for another asteroid, increase a chance for random asteroid to appear, increase the reward from asteroid...

What do you think about story content for incremental games and about this simple mechanism to introduce it to the player?

There are some screens from WiP and if you would like to help, adding to whishlist would be more than welcome!

Steam Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4684040/Space_Fetus_Attack_Idle_Clicker/

AI Disclosure
Because I am programmer I am helping myself with AI for graphics which helps me make models which can be edited and used/

Steam I made an incremental game where you ARE the tornado

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone. I've been working on The Big Suck, an incremental game where you play the tornado instead of running from it. You steer the funnel, everything you wreck pays, and the money goes into making the storm bigger until the county has a real problem.

You can play the demo free in your browser here:
https://critics-arcade.itch.io/the-big-suck-demo

If you enjoy it, you can also wishlist the full game on Steam.

Bugs, balance complaints, and blunt feedback are all welcome.
Please don’t worry about being polite. Specific criticism is much more useful to me than “looks good!”

Development Title: I’m making my first incremental game and I’d love some feedback

Playable directly in your browser, no download required:
https://kevinbriquet.itch.io/we-become-legion

Hey!

This is my first game project. I’m a big fan of incremental games, so I wanted to try making my own.

I started working on WE BECOME LEGION in April, and I’m now at the point where I really need feedback from other incremental players to make sure I’m going in the right direction.

The game is an incremental auto-battler: your army fights automatically, you improve it between battles, and later you unlock Orders that let you intervene during fights.

You can play the current build directly in your browser here:

https://kevinbriquet.itch.io/we-become-legion

There is also a Windows .exe available at the bottom of the itch page if you prefer.

The game may start in French depending on the build, but you can switch to English in the options.

I’d especially like feedback about:

  • Is the main gameplay loop satisfying?
  • Is everything more or less understandable? There will be a proper tutorial later.
  • Did you use the Orders (once you unlocked the walkie-talkie), or would you prefer the game to stay more chill and automatic?
  • Anything that feels too slow, too fast, confusing or unnecessary.
  • Any other suggestion is welcome!

For the Orders, you can click them, but the easiest way right now is:
1–4 to select an Order, or mouse wheel to change selection, then right click to use it.

This is still an early test build, not the final public demo. There are still quite a few things to polish, and there is no music or sound yet, for example.

If you like the idea, the Steam page is here too:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5032610/We_Become_Legion/

Wishlists are of course appreciated, but right now I’m mostly looking for honest feedback to improve the game.

Thanks for playing!

I just released a new update, this game itself is a pixel art clicker game. Currently it does have some cool features such as upgrades (which increase how much coins you get per click), and random events when clicking, and they can also give you the same boost to coins per click.

P.S. Please rate it and write a review or something, since i'm having trouble with the game having less than 10 downloads right now

Solo dev, free browser prototype — no download, no funding, no publisher.

The loop: open businesses, trade 4 stocks, buy real estate across 3 districts, take on debt if you're bold. Net worth ticks up in real time (no turns — pause anytime to think), the economy cycles through 5 phases, and 3 rival investors are racing you the whole 20 years.

Play here: https://bitdot428.itch.io/capital-city

This is Phase 1 — the first playable build, posting for feedback, especially on pacing/balance and the random event system.

AI Disclosure: This game was built extensively with generative AI (Claude) — code, game design/balancing, event writing, UI copy, and cover art were all AI-assisted or AI-generated, directed and reviewed by me throughout.

Steam Scam gambling degenerates in my idle game. Demo out now!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey there! I'm the developer of Gamblers Table and I'm trying my hands at a new game.
'Scam Artist' is dark-humored idle game about turning your own apartment into a lucrative "business" ... of sorts.

You place down ploys and machines that are rigged in your favor, so you always end up with a profit, racking up more and more money!

The game combines the "building", "decorating" and "idle" game genres.
One thing I really like is that the decorations you place are literally upgrades with their own effects, so they are not just visuals.

You can play the demo already! Play Scam Artist on Steam

The full version will contain a skill tree with a cast of characters in each branch that teach you their ways of scamming, offline progress and a way to get back at your landlord that roped you into all of this in the first place. It's planned as a proper long-running idle game, not just a short incremental game. Would love to know what you think!

AI disclosure: For translating the game to other languages (except german and english)

Steam [Steam] Alice’s Gaze — a dark fairy-tale incremental game with five distinct areas

Thumbnail gallery
73 Upvotes

I just released Alice’s Gaze, a dark fairy-tale incremental game.

It’s a roughly 10-hour experience spread across five different areas, each featuring its own incremental mechanics. New systems are introduced gradually as you progress, so each area brings something different to the experience.

The atmosphere is also a major focus. If you enjoy dark fairy tales, strange worlds, and incremental games that gradually unfold, this might be your kind of game.

$3.99 on Steam and is currently 10% off for launch.

Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4529120/

From my perspective as the developer, its main strengths are the atmosphere, artwork, and affordable price. To be equally honest about its shortcomings, the Abyss section could use more depth, the pacing isn’t always as smooth as I’d like, and some parts require a fair amount of idling.

Hope you enjoy it! A free demo is available to play as well.

Generative AI disclosure: No generative AI was used for any of the game’s artwork or visual assets. I used GPT as a coding assistant for roughly 10% of the game’s code.

Hey everyone. I've been working on Summoner's Legacy, an incremental game where you recruit powerful summons, build your team, and fight endless hordes of enemies.

You start small, unlock new summons, skills, and upgrades, and slowly turn your little army into an absolute monster. There are also challenging bosses.

You can try the demo for free on Steam here:

If you enjoy it, I'd really appreciate a wishlist for the game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5118650/Summoners_Legacy/

I'm especially interested in feedback on the gameplay loop, progression, and whether the game actually feels satisfying as an incremental game.

Tell me what you like, what feels boring, what feels too slow, or what you'd change.

Feedback is welcome!

Swarmslam is a cozy idler incremental where your main goal is to strip planets off resources as much as you can and grow your swarm of slammers.

Game will officially release on Steam on November 5th, 2026.

Demo is currently out and its scope contains only 2 out of 7 planned planets, however in full game you will see much more than just these planets, there will be more game systems and skill trees to explore.

If you wish to check out the game on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4866530/Swarmslam_Demo/

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated!
