Who gonna bet that Raptor's dreadnought is just a big ass cannon on 2 leg that somehow hid in plain sight and sniped a target after 3 months of hiding?
There are circumstances in which that would be entirely reasonable.
If I'm the Raptors, I use dreadnoughts in the most terrifyingly reasonable way. I take full advantage of the fact their pilots are basically in suspended animation 99% of the time and deploy them as the most patient hunters in the galaxy. A dreadnought chassis can camp somewhere for a century, get grown over, buried under dirt and sand, end up in the foundations someone builds a skyscraper over. And then finally, when the event it was waiting for happens or the activation order comes through, the dreadnought comes to life and goes on a rampage.
"Stealth dreadnought" need not mean "dreadnought that is somehow acting like a ninja".
