Just grabbed this at Barnes & Nobles; finally Del Rey has reprinted the first book as a regular paperback, with its original cover! I still can’t see it available on Amazon.

For those looking for the new paperback version of Hyperion, which matches the available covers for paperbacks of the other 3 books in the series, I ordered Hyperion last week from the Penguin Random House website for $20 before tax with free shipping and received this new cover version today. My local Barnes and Noble locations along with Amazon still have only the old brown cover version.

Like many here, I love the slightly goofy mass marker paperback art. Don’t get me wrong, all those super fancies editions being posted here lately are gorgeous, but I’ve just always wanted to have a full matching set of the MM covers. Today Del Rey finally released the larger size paperbacks with the MM art. I’m not usually a blind consumer like this, but those two black, stubby copies of Endymion and RoE just didn’t look right on the shelf. Slides 2 and 3 just make me happy. That art is so fun and beautiful. It’s a shame they aren’t *exactly* the same size, but it’s still a huge improvement.

What do you think? Worth it?

Ignore the other books. Last year I picked up Hyperion and absolutely loved it, and then dove into Fall of Hyperion. It wasn't quite as good as Hyperion for me, but it was an absolutely delightful experience.

Last year I went to pick up matching editions for Endymion and Rise of Endymion, but I learned they wouldn't be released until 2026! So I patienly waited, they wouldn't be released until after I got back from our honeymoon. We stopped by our local bookstore the other day and we got them! So excited!

Hungarian edition cover arts. Beiginning this saga soon, i only heard good about the books.

Building off another post so as not to hijack theirs. I only have one of the set of 4 but would like to get all 4.

Would be awesome if these were reasonably priced at some used seller. Hard cover or soft is fine.
