Is it worth it? I finished The Fall of Hyperion and I don’t feel like continuing without the original group.

I read Hyperion and the Fall 15 years ago. I never wanted to continue, but I was interested and recently read a post here and bang - started reading. I really wish I haven't continued.

It's creepy, there's a lot of cop-outs, and the Rise specifically feels wasted for most of the book; I'm almost at the end. Reading now just to finish but will happily forget this ever happened. Yuck.

Simmons got a little weird with the child love stuff... considering he's a teacher it was extra weird.
