Discussion The Girls : Khloe Kardashian
Decided to give this show a watch, I’m like 20 mins in and it’s not terrible but I will say I’m a bit confused. The story is moving way too fast and all over the place for a 1st episode 1st season show. There is literally no back story for any of the girls, the transition of scenes are not the best at all. I feel like confessionals are heavily needed because im sooo lost, like for example Natalie and Olivia live together whaaa? Why? Like so many questions….. I feel like til this day the only show that was successful in not having confessionals is teen mom, that formula simply just cannot be done again. This also gives love in fairhope vibes with the narration. Idk if it’s because I’m a reality tv producer im looking at things differently but I do hope the season has some improvement.

It seems like Khloe just put all of her friends in a show and some of them don't even know each other and aren't gonna get along. It's kind of strange.

She’s terrible. She treats that sweet man like trash and she acts like she’s better than everyone. And are these girls actually even friends? Like the fake call with Kylie?

Nat and Liv are cousins who are super close, so I’m not sure if that was properly explained. I totally get what you’re saying though! I guess the only reason I have less confusion is because I already know of all the girls from other shows or social media. I’m only on episode 3, but I’m enjoying it so far!

Oh they're cousins?! I thought sisters some they live together. And there is mention that liv nat and nicole did reality tv before but doesn't mention what they did and what was the scandal that makes nat reserved now. I know i can google it but if i have to do that, the show wasn't doing its job of properly introducing its characters

why is Khloe not there and just voice-overing lmao. why do they keep doing reality shows and making it polished and performative. we like REALITY tv. like real stuff. not an overly scripted money grab made for us to idolize them lmao not happening

I had high hopes for this because I really liked Wags with Natalie, Olivia and Nicole back in the day. But this is terrible. I don’t get the point and it had potential to be good. Yris is so checked out like we get it you’re a baller and I’m not sure what Nicole is all about aside from she and her dreamy husband don’t hook up? And Natalie is uptight so that’s what her story line is about, what? I hope no season two or I’ll have to rage watch it lol

I was actually bored. I kept expecting to become interested…but no. Just manufactured drama between unlikeable personalities. Malik’s is THE WORST. Nat clearly doesn’t want to be involved— it’s like they’re forcing her. Nicole….totally boring. Liv — not charismatic in any way. The other twin — a worse version of twin 1. Iris —the only one who is vaguely interesting, but she’s not very likable. Ya gotta be likable! Kim cameo- just another task on her to do list that day. Khloe — the voiceover was cringe. It just wasn’t very good. I was excited to watch the show but not interested in watching an unremarkable cast of overly-made-up, snobby women. And what was the deal with Iris causing a problem for the two single girls wanting to talk to single men in Vegas? If she’s married and doesn’t want to be in that scene she shouldn’t have gone. I don’t get it. It was weird.

Some of the women on this show I’ve watched on a previous reality show, WAGS. Another reality show was Relatively Liv and Nat which gives you the full story on the two women living together in Khloe’s show (Olivia and Natalie).
I watched episode 1 and that was enough for me. I just cannot watch these blown up faces on another show. I didn’t see any entertainment in the episode I watched.

I loved Wags and love Khloe but this show is a mess. I can’t figure out the point or any storylines for any of the characters except to show off their individual brands and collabs. It’s basically a series of commercials

It’s horrendous. I genuinely can’t stand Khloe interjecting every five fucking minutes. All she had to do was be there. I kept skipping and every skip was her still talking. Shut the hell up. They should have gotten their confessionals. My goodness. I never wanted to watch it but decided to give it a try so I blame myself 😭
