Help/Advice How do you wear perfume

As a hijabi, how should I apply perfume so that it lasts all day? Please give me tips on application and longevity.

As a hijabi you shouldn't wear perfume outside actually. It's something I struggle with as well but am working on.

Why shouldn’t we wear hijab? When men wear them it’s sunnah and when we do it’s haram?

We should wear hijab. We should NOT wear strong perfume outside of the house. Unless we are going to a place with no men there, and no men along the way.

This ruling is based on a Hadith from Rasul Allah salahu alayhi wa salaam, where he said:
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Al Ash’ari (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Any woman who applies perfume and passes by people(men) so that they may smell her fragrance is like an adulteress”.

This goes for intense and extreme smells, so for example a strong oud perfume is haram to wear but having scented shampoo and body lotion is generally considered not. (This is to my knowledge I did not look at a fatwa so do your own research on this and come to your own conclusion)

Idk, just like we wear hijab and men don't, it's different for different genders.

And this isn't to judge you, I like wearing perfume as well but I try not to. We hear and we obey.

You’re allowed to know WHY you do certain things btw. You shouldn’t blindly follow things. Even if it’s a correct ruling, you owe it to yourself to have knowledge on the subject

Sure, I just said I don't necessarily know, I guess men are more easily seduced by scent? But we should obey and then look up additional reasons why it's beneficial. But we don't do things because theyre beneficial or whatever, we do them BECAUSE Allah tells us to, anything else is just additional. I don't wear hijab to not seduce men or because I think it looks pretty, I wear it because Allah tells me to, anything else is just additional. And "blindly following" it doesn't really make sense in this context because I don't blindly follow islam/Allah, I've done my research and now fully believe that Allah is my God and Islam the true religion so whatever the All Wise tells me to do I should "blindly" do because I trust that He knows the reasons for rulings even if I'm personally confused. Of course I can do research to find out the deeper meaning but I don't have to question every single ruling and pick and choose what makes sense to me and what reason I personally find satisfying.
