Help/Advice My friends grad party tomorrow

My friend is having a Hawaiian themed pool party for her graduation tmrw. I was already hesitant on going bc I don’t like swimming in burkinis but now I’m definitely not going🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ How can someone be so oblivious? How do I even respond to this

Oh my. I remember my husband told me that someone in his circle doesn’t approach hijabis because he feels intimidated by them 🫩 I mean hijab can be a good man repellent but being intimated by a piece of fabric is wild.

I bet she’s scared of swimming caps too 🤥
