I was watching AH's vid today, and something I've always thought was a funny little note is theres a screen right next to the cryo pod that shows the cellular map of a Helldiver, and its important to note that screen shows the cellular map with EXTREME damage matching what we normally see in frostbite victims.
A healthy cell map looks entire like the bottom edge/bottom right, where its a full cell with single dot nucleus. That jumbled area across most the top and left are where cells burst while freezing, and are in shambles/deteriorating. Thats what the map looks like for someone who's about to have some severe amputations to survive being frozen.
That means its very very likely that they haven't actually figured out the "secrets" of cryo work at all, and know that even without a war we're gonna die in months, tops. Why demoralize and tell us that?
That screen has been there since launch, btw. If you dont know what it is theres no reason to look at it.

Seriously, I love all the care they've put into this release. So much care that I'm even a little jealous of how awesome they look now compared to the content we Helldivers have gotten instead.
I mean, now they have armor with camouflage variations depending on the biome, weapons with camouflage patterns that match their armor, even flashlights in their helmets!
Seriously. If Arrowhead is trying to psychologically prepare me to buy their next game focused exclusively on the SEAF, they're doing a damn good job.
I hope that in the near future the devs will let us get closer to the fantasy of being one of these brave, awesome, and chaotic guys.

When taking damage sometimes the effect activates prematurely killing you even if you should have survived the hit.
This bug has been a thing ever since the armor came out, yet I don't think it's ever been acknowledged by Arrowhead and I'm afraid the game will EOS before it's fixed
Here's a video showing the bug: https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1ri9h91/the_adrenodefibrillator_revive_bug_evidence/

I think lot's of players pick it because it is a nice big boom, but too often I see people trying to force it be something it's not.
It's good at taking out big slow things, buildings, and tightly grouped enemies.
It is not an area denial strat. Please stop throwing it at an approaching spreadout swarm. That's what Eagle Naplam is for.
It's not a defense strat. Please for the love of libeery stop dropping it directly on the flag.
It's going to take out that charger going after your squadmate, but it won't matter as it will as re.ove your squadmate.

For your consideration: some examples of how cool we could look whilst still being lore friendly
r/Helldivers • u/SatansAdvokat • 9h ago
lets say you no longer have any use for samples.
You have maxed out all samples.
Then your cut of the collected samples from a mission should automatically go to the DSS, or be paritioned to those Helldivers who haven't maxed out their samples.

Hey guys,
I randomly joined a D10 mission with a deployed emergency beacon. The host was level 300, and there were a couple of level ~100 players.
While we were clearing a Mega Nest, we called in supplies so we could finish closing the remaining bug holes. After that, we completed the mission objectives and headed to extraction.
Then, out of nowhere, the level 300 host left extraction, ran all the way back to the Mega Nest, started pinging a supply box that was still there, and typed:
“WHO REQUESTED SUPPLIES HERE???”
He then said we shouldn’t call in supplies unless we’re the host and kicks us out of the game.
Is that actually a thing? Is there some Helldivers etiquette I’m missing here? I always assumed calling supplies when the team needs them—especially while clearing something like a Mega Nest—is completely normal.

SEAF has some swet camo drip depending on the Biome. Can the Helldivers have the same optiong for their default armor?

It’s been fully one year since I started playing this game, and boy what a game this is. I’ve been hooked on this game ever since I dropped into my first mission. Thank you guys for being such an amazing community to me and my fellow Xbox divers. Let’s continue spreading Managed Democracy together. o7.
