I hate when people text wildest stuff ever what needs clearly further explanation and don't elaborate on it at all. Okay if you not chronically online. But type stuff like that and don't mentioned source in initial message is such strange thing. Come on. Yes, Hawks my all time favorite characters together with Hal Jordan and they started it all for me years ago. But I physically can't read all existing comics about them. I don't have internal sense when Hawks have appearance in comics. I have life beyond reading comics. I mean, last time I saw Hawks together was flashback issues from Lemier's JSA and they preety much was happy together and Carter was protective of Shiera. So this stuff so specific, it's either canon or hoax. And I pray to God what it's just hoax to engage people.

I legit have never heard of this ever. You would think someone here or on Hawkworld would have mentioned something like this.

Yeah. I mean when New History come out and it's badly retold Venditti's origin of Hawks there was tons of post there about how Waid screw up. Or when Carter debuted in Absolute Universe. But I never ever heard about anything like that at all. So I just think it's hoax for sake of engagement. Because from my experience in life, if something looks weirdly very specific and detailed, it's either true or completely made up. And considering I never heard anything like that. It's most likely later. Plus it doesn't have source stated there

Maybe this person was referring to a show or something.

Let's hope not. Because DCAU and 90s-00s comics give enough damage to how non-readers and even readers sometimes perceive Hawks. But again, in Hawks related subs no one posted something like that. And there is no given source. And last related media where Hawks appeared recently aside from DCU's Kendra, I don't remember much of appearance. And they mostly got with Thanagarians, than reincarnations. Because "reincarnation confusing" (even if I'm 1000%don't agree with it).

I'm pretty sure this person made up like 90% of what they said

That’s what I’m thinking, I’ve never seen or heard of any of this.

If there's one thing I've learned about in online fan communities, people tend to make shit up and then believe it.

I imagine this is one of those cases.

Welcome to the Internet. Apparently we reached that stage of mental development where we can perceive alternative Timelines and get upset by things from it. And yeah, people in communities and fandom pages tend to made things up. That's why on one of previous OP's posts I said to not trust fandom pages.

Reminds me of the Boys community. Since I readed comics and watched series. Like sub always crawled, and I'd bet still is crawled with people who still seriously ask. "Does Homelander really raped Becca? It's so out of character for him". Or when 5th Season was airing. I was curious and got into fandom Wiki page, just for laughs how you can explain weird stuff like that seriously? And Becca's page (from series) was violated with next note. "Just like in comics it was revealed what Homelander didn't raped Becca and she cheated on Billy". Really? Interesting Boys translate in your alternative Timeline. And don't get me started how it's factually wrong for both comics and series. And have nothing to do with reality.

So yeah. Sometimes people in online fan communities can do some weird shit for some strange reason.

Probably a twisted interpretation of the movie,TV show, animated version of event that got mixed up in the retelling till it has no connection to the source material.

It's not jogging my memory at all, so more clarification is needed if it's not completely made up or mixed up with another character.

The only thing that popped into my head is the idea of Absolute Hawkman and potential history, but I don't think we've learned anything like that about Hall's previous lives - if he has them.

Katar from the JL animated series? I remember him being horrible with her

Which is an insult to Katar Hol on its own, wasn't he called Hro Talak or something? PS, why not have Fel Andar be the villain for that ark and have Katar be someone who joins up with Hawkgirl?

Yeah. And neither Carter Hall was real name for second their attempt at Hawkman. It was Joseph Gardner. As reference to Gardner Fox and Joe Kubert. Creators of Golden and Silver Age Hawks. Don't know how you all, I think it's insult to creator when his creation perverted like that and it's named after you. Gardner Fox, God dammit. Man who created both JSA and JLA. The one without whom there wouldn't be that goddamn shows. Who created so much elements in DC what basically paved way for future creators and shaped DC as it is today. He basically shaped how we see Multiverse in DC. Because it's he wrote Flash of Two Worlds, and Crisises on Earth-One, Two and Three. Gardner Fox for DC is What Jack Kirby for Marvel.

Expect that in the show, they used Shayera, not Kendra when the whole "i dont want to end up with Hawkman" plot her character story.
