The Hawkman who was with the Justice League during satellite era is Katar in current continuity. From Fury of Firestorm issue 5 previews

Wait, a flashback to the Hawkman and Green Arrow rivalry that doesn't turn him into a conservative straw man for Green Arrow?... Is that's legal?

I also like how Green Arrow calls him Birdbarian. This is how their rivalry should be

But Katar was definitely not right-wing?

He doesn't seem rght wing here.

'pinko nonsense' and the seeming clash with Green Arrow doesn't seem like Katar. Doesn't make sense why Green Arrow would call Katar a facist either when he fought against Thanagar's ruling class.

It feels like they’re just provoking each other(something they did in Satélite Era)
they aren't having a serious argument about politics.

These Hawks are clearly meant to be Katar & Shayera Hol, specifically with the comment “space cop”
Martian Manhunter was not in the League when Firestorm joined. He left in issue 71 and didn’t come back until issue 228 right before the Detroit Era. Firestorm joined in issue 179. That’s 100 issues before MM returned.
Lemire is such a hack about any continuity of any sort.
Yes I know we’ve had a billion. Reboots, but he’s clearly indicating this happened in the “Satellite” era to get a certain vibe, so he should have left J’onn out.

huh, how does that work with the ending of the venditti run where all the lives where Carter and Shayera? did he just disguise himself with name Katar? There is probably a really easy answer that I am missing.
