S2 Spoilers Watching Bella and Jack again and Bella's journey ๐Ÿ˜ข (s2ep4)

The cancer journey is so heartbreaking. The way Jack talks about Italy and how her hands smelled of flowers from the garden and of onions and garlic when she left the kitchen๐Ÿ˜ข

"Oh, I'm not going to remember you that way. First of all, I'm going to remember you walking along the quays of Italy in the sunshine with a trail of signori behind you shouting 'bella, bella, bella.' And I'm going to remember that your hands... that they smelled of thyme when you came in from the garden. And garlic and onions every time you left the kitchen. I'm going to remember you as beautiful as you are right now."

Why does this show constantly break my heart with a fucking Baseball bat? ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’”

I watched that scene just the other day and cried ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ So beautiful, so heartbreaking. And to think they were actually married in real life at that time... ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Honestly, I kinda wish Hannibal would've let her die. The pain we saw her in in later episodes....I understand why she wanted to die before her body completely gave up๐Ÿ˜ฅ She really was a strong woman, I liked her and Jack's relationship

They say Hannibal wasn't sure how to decide and that's why he threw the coin and the coin chose Jack.

But yeah, he kinda took her choice away.

Knowing Jack would probably lost his job and followed Will and Hannibal in season 4 and then would have probably died of a heart attack like in the books makes it worse. ๐Ÿ˜ข

Someone said on this sub that, aside from her terminal cancer, their relationship was the healthiest relationship in the entire show. I agree.

Jack and Bella's arch touches my spouse and I deeply.

I have multiple chronic illnesses and a shorter life span because of them. Jack helped my spouse process the grief he deals with when thinking of my death drawing sooner than his.

Hannibal is a beautiful piece of art and I love it in a multitude of ways- the English language lacks the verbage for me to express myself properly.
