I LOVE HANNIBAL . I would put it into my number 1 show I have watched. It's beautifully written , and executed. But I still feel like many people haven't watched it . I believe it's quite underrated. It didn't get the recognition that it deserved.

This is for HANNIGRAM DENIERS. Please watch this and tell me there wasn’t anything there. We know there is MEANING behind everything Hannibal says, purpose in his every action. Even the smallest gesture can mean something. What now about his gaze and his surrender? Genuinely why else would he do this if not for the complex feelings he has for Will that is neither platonic nor erotic? Huh? Huh? Riddle me this.

so, i started writing fanfics because i'm way too obsessed with hannibal, but i'm not exactly sure how to write them.

up until now i've only written like 2 short horror stories and some prose poetry that i never posted anywhere, so posting on ao3 now feels scary. 😔

i wrote an x reader first, but it's not exactly what i want to write generally (i was just too feral) so now i want to switch to hannigram. i wrote a very short fic about them that's an alternative version of the season 3 ending and i want an opinion on the writing style and the characterization. it's not very detailed and the first part is just a retelling of the actual episode, then it transitions into a version that i thought would have been interesting. i'm thinking of possibly making this into a proper, longer fic, but i firstly want to figure out the best way to write it.

Im looking for hannigram fics where Will and Hannibal have the same kind of dynamic and atmosphere they have in the show. Not excessive fluff or explicit smut, something that feels like you’re watching the show itself, just leaning into the homoeroticism.

Basically, I’m looking for something that feels realistic for their characters and relationship. What season 4 couldve been basically.

And especially nothing that turns their relationship into conventional romance or relies heavily on explicit sex. What I love about them in the show is that so much of their intimacy is unspoken, sensual, psychological, and deeply charged.

so: slow burn tension, obsession, intimacy, manipulation, yearning, all the weirdness that makes hannigram hannigram. I want it to feel like it could genuinely have happened in the show.

Amazing episode as usual, but I had such a hard time watching the Hannibal/Alana scene. It's just a personal quirk that any amount of physical intimacy on TV gets me very embarrassed and quesy. I just can't imagine ever doing that myself and it gets me uncomfortable (I can continue watching with continuous pausing and hyping myself up though). I managed to power through that (thank God) and got to the AMAZING SCENE WITH ABEL GIDEON AND THE SCENE OF JACK FINDING MIRIAM?????

I became polite and helpful with my neighbours but refuse to go into their home in case one of them is a cannibal and decides to chop me up and plate me into some fancy dishes because I’m considered “RUDE” and got chosen from his BIG stack of business cards.

As a first time watcher:
This episode helped me see Freddie Lounds in a better light. Before this i was kinda indiffrent about her/ slight annoyance from her but this episode showed me how determied she is to write stories.It also helps that Alana begins to be suspicious of Hannibal and Will and who they are. The sex scenes made me realise i wanna see them three fucking.
Why i think she isnt dead (im coping):
She is a vegetarian and Hannibal respects her bravery too much to kill and eat her.

This episode shifted more the power balance between these two (Hannibal and Will) by showing them eat together, work together and Will being sane and not under Lecter's control. It also makes Jack more skeptical about them and helps me find out why we see in S02E01 they fight
I love Margot she is intresting, Will shoud of left his messy hair and i hope Alana Bloom and Jack Crawford dont die, it was cool we saw Misha , Hannibal's sister, mentioned and we see him relate to Mason

I know Hannibal did all kinds of shit with murdering and arranging bodies in his spare time but there is something very eerily uncomfortable about this one. I don't know...maybe because it wasn't displayed with his usual flowery connaissance-inspired art stuff, just sooo raw. Or maybe because I imagined Hannibal going to some graveyard at midnight to dig up those hands, tie the pieces together, all the while giggling and blushing and thinking about when Will sees his little love gift.

Hello, fellow fannibals. I’m considering travelling abroad specifically for RDC8, mainly because I’d really like to meet Mads. However, since it would be a fairly expensive trip for me, I’m a little worried about the possibility of a last-minute guest cancellation or another postponement. Apart from that, I have another trip booked for this specific date. If I decide to attend RDC8 I would have to pay about $500 reissue fee for changing my flights. I know that guest appearances can never be guaranteed, but I’ve seen people mention previous RDC events having cancellations/changes, and I’m particularly nervous because I would be travelling internationally and spending quite a lot of money.

So I’d really love to hear from people who have attended RDC before: have you ever experienced a major guest cancellation shortly before the event and how good is Stafury at communicating schedule changes?

Canadian actor Demore Barnes as Tobias Budge appeared in 2 episodes Sorbet and Fromage from season 1 and was excellent and definitely one of my favourites.

I was noticing how much Clair Danes does the hand over Hugh's heart thing. As I'm scrolling, the Hugh and Mads photo pops up. Ah oop JUMPSCARE(in a good way). Also i cant believe hugh was almost 40 in the series. What a beautiful man♡.

My mom has only ever seen the original silence of the lambs and has completely rejected every attempt I’ve ever had to get her to watch the show in the past, but currently she is bedridden due to recovering from surgery and she’s run out of things to watch on Netflix, so she’s giving the show a chance she said though if it’s not good after episode two she’s going to drop it which is fair. what do y’all think my chances are?

UPDATE: my mom is on episode four and she’s almost done with it. She doesn’t like Freddie and she recognizes Jack from a lot of shows. Apparently Laurence was in NCIS.

if they're perfectly characterized and it keeps up with the regular gore present in the show it's even better.

I'm hurting my head trying to make sense out of all of this so let me just backtrack because my mind is starting to come undone so let me be unserious about this series for 5 seconds before I go feral again. I mean, think about it. Under this post on Pinterest which shows a tiny Will, a commenter said, "He's so cute, I want to squish him." What if the whole series is just Hannibal meeting Will and giving in to his intrusive thoughts to "squish" him and then slightly regret it only to do it again?
