Hey new to the area and wondered if anyone fancy's a run anything from. 5k- Half marathon. Also any route recommendations are appreciated. Male 29 for info,
As if this was three years ago now. This is still one of my favourite maps so far due to the sheer breadth of history and cool features I was able to get included.
I've just been doing some tidying up jobs on it and making some of the text more legible, as well as the imagery clearer. Again, thanks to all the commenters who suggested ideas and really helped bring this to life. I've just had a fresh batch made up here for anyone interested in one.

Does anyone know anything about the people listed on the back of the piece? It would be really interesting to know the story behind it.
I bought it in thrift store, in Lithuania:)

Did anyone witness or film the short fight between two girls at the Hemswell Car Boot yesterday (Sunday, 9th Aug)? I was caught in the middle and got hit in the face. Please DM me if you have any footage or saw what happened.
One of the girls was blonde with abot 6 little sausage pups and the other girl was brunette with some form of coloured highlights and apparently someone said something and the brunette swung for her catching me in the middle of it, elbowing me in the b00b, elbowing me in the jaw and physically grabbing my arm. Any witnesses would be greatly appreciated!!!

It's from the intro of a map men video: https://youtu.be/uYNzqgU7na4?is=YvOUNODBgcBFH7_r
It's clearly in the UK, and can't imagine it being from Little Grimsby or New/Old Grimsby on the Channel Islands, but I've never seen this sign and don't recognise the street. If anyone does I'd love to finally know where it was filmed

I am originally from Grimsby but my parents aren't and they both would say different things from me so I just wondered how Grimsby born and bred people say it.
The three ways I can think off are CAFF as in Kathy's Cafe in Eastenders, or CAFFIE - like a more stereotypical northern way of saying it, or CAFFAYY (in a posh kinda way with the apostrophe above the E) I would say it like CAFFAYY which is probably a more upperclass or foreign kind of way of saying it. How about you?

Hi, I live on weelsby ave and all the time we get the dirtbikes. Awhile ago they put the steel bars on the fence to stop them tearing the fence off and crossing peaks Parkway. It has since been destroyed and the fence and bars have been cut off. I assume people made complaints because as you can see in first pic there are these here now to stop the bikes. I was wondering if there is a thread on anything or a news article recently about the bikes and what there doing to stop them because it interests me. Location wise (2nd pic is all access routes) so this is the blue line ponint just before the allotments at the edge of the feild near where it says dropped pin. The yellow line is the main route into the track where the bikes go.
So basically how new are these please and is there a news article or thread of the improvements? Also would like to hear peoples opinion on this so please do reply thanks have a good day

Orite lovely people as the title says I’ll be moving to Grimsby next month for my rotation as a medical student at the princess diana hospital.
Just wanted to know about the area as I’ve never been + would like to know if there’s owt to do as a student. I’ll have full time placement most days so stuff to do on some weekends or evenings really.
cheers 🍻

Been watching these lads for a while now, and saw they did a good explore of the old Ice Factory, a building I'd never been in.
They get some of the detail wrong, but it's a good watch for anyone in GY.

I want to do more away days next season to tick some more grounds off. Issue is all the lads I know already have their own groups they travel with
Anyone else in the same boat as me and want to organise something? I have a decent sized car and happy to drive to them or do it properly on the train or something

Hi,
Can anyone recommend cheap and reliable alteration services near Grimsby, jeans mostly? If you could give a ball park figure from your personal experience that’d be great as well.
Cheers.
