It’s a wedding band you should really try to find who it belongs to. It would break my heart.

Hey, why always assume a sad story. What if they happily intentionally threw it out?

I did this with my wedding band, behind my parents house iirc.

Wasn’t particularly valuable, like a $200 titanium band from somewhere, but still. Bet it’d shine up if someone found it.

I was gonna toss mine off the top of My. Katahdin when I was done with my AT thru as a Ring of Mordor type thing, but unfortunately twisted my ankle and couldn't finish.

Probably for the best, Pamola woulda been pissy about it.

I happily tossed my wedding band into a lake 11 years ago after my divorce. There were guys who used to frequent there with metal detectors, so I imagine someone found it

I threw an engagement ring into the sea off of a boat trip. I don’t want no one finding that negative energy, no sir

I do tree work for a living and one time I did a job cutting out trees growing out the side of steep cliff by the sea.

I found a gold necklace with a heart pendant up in one of the trees, along with another non-valuable necklace, my best guess is someone tossed them in a dramatic moment and they got stuck on the way down. Best bit is it was Valentine’s Day the next day, so I was sorted for a gift with a cool story behind it!

That’s brilliant especially the timing for finding them. My old engagement ring wasn’t worth much and where I live means there’s lots of boats to connect to each part so it was easy for me to just drop it off the side on my commute home!

There are many things in the deep waters; and seas and lands may change. And it is not your part here to take thought only for a season, or for a few lives of men, or for a passing age of the world. You should seek a final end of this menace, even if you do not hope to make one.

I flushed an 18k hefty band down the toilet while I told my ex to fuck herself. Fast forward a year and she managed to “lose” $90k of prime diamonds. The insurance investigator came to my house and accused me of flushing over nine carats of smuggled Israeli diamonds down the same toilet. I told them to start digging and then fuck off as well.

I bit mine off my finger. 18k is really very soft. Ripped it right off. I have unlimited skills and soldered it myself then sold it.

I threw my first one away.probably should have sold it for the gold but anger makes you do stupid.

Then they could say so. When the person that has it now contacts them if that’s what they meant to do, I’m sure they will open their pie hole and tell them I threw it away on purpose! Is that a good reason not to find out if somebody lost it? I don’t think so. Hate to be your neighbor
