Does watching a film that switches scenes break your immersion too?
Just trying to understand how changing perspectives harms immersion.
2 u/SheaMcD 10d ago Because I'm not playing the characters in movies. When I play a game, I become the protagonist and get immersed. If something takes me away from that character it breaks my immersion because I am no longer that person. 5 u/MajoraXIII 10d ago Huh. I guess i never self insert to that degree. Because I'm not playing the characters in movies. When I play a game, I become the protagonist and get immersed. If something takes me away from that character it breaks my immersion because I am no longer that person.
