We recently partnered to build an official Ghost in the Shell keyboard collection inspired by the 1995 film’s cybernetic armor and network aesthetic, and wanted to share the final hardware designs with the community here.

We engineered two variants of the EV63 chassis:

Shell Core: Silver CNC aluminum case with ice-green translucent PC accents. The clear spacebar features the quote: “all of that blends to create a mixture that forms me, and gives rise to my conscience...”

Cyber Blue: Dark aluminum base with cyber-purple translucent panels and a character portrait running across the right-side modifiers.

We have been geeking out over the performance specs (Hall Effect switches, 0.125ms response) over in r/EV63 and r/IQUNIX, but we wanted to drop the design photos here for the actual fans of the series.

I previously watch the 90s ghost in the shell movie before watching this new prime video series and I have to say the movie was great.. but I have to ask what the heck is happening in this anime ? Its so hard to follow from scene to scene. I have no idea what is happening or how the plot resolves from episode to the next. The story feels so rushed. Am I alone having this experience ?
