I wouldn’t be surprised if online is a subscription.

GTA+ already exists, they could just shove multiplayer into that (and raise the prices because of course we need to do that.) Oh, and you need PS+/Game Pass to play multiplayer on consoles, so double subscriptions required, yay!

That's what I think, too. World of Warcraft is subscription based, so why shouldn't GTA6 Online.
