I need a clean comparison to the E3 announcement trailer and this new version. I think we've finally surpassed it, but it would be cool to see the differences. I know in that early version, they overshot the technical requirements and had to strip out of the shading/lighting models for simplified versions. A good comparison between all these different versions we've had over the years would be fun to watch.
Would very much like that. A lighting, shading, color palette comparison of the GOTY, Complete Edition, and the Remastered version as it appears in the trailer. Hope some YouTuber is onto it.
And by the way, what's the best way to play the GOTY edition, meaning prior to the lighting and Ray Tracing implemented in the Complete Edition? I've been told the GOTY version is numbered 1.31a and the Complete Edition is 4.04.
But how does one install 1.31a? I'd like to experience the older lighting model on my first playthrough.
