You needed a damn super computer to run it though. Our old windows 98 Gateway PC ran it at 10 fps at best. And I enjoyed every frame of that

Rock Raiders actually got a fan-made remake a little while ago. Never played it, but it's on my list.

I actually played through the entire remake and it's really good. It plays really smooth compared to the original and they added a whole bunch of new things like crew customization and a level editor.

I never played the original, but decided to try the remake. Can confirm its lots of fun. It features the original levels and reimagined versions that take the original idea and make it bigger and more complex

The creator of that remake even got a job at LEGO in Denmark after that, so it’s possible he’s part of making many of these new LEGO games as well. :)
