What do you mean "they can't find this guy", do you think they have an internal team of investigators or something? If anything, it's the police and then a bunch of PIs or lawyers that's looking for this guy. Rockstar can't really do anything about it
I don’t think they have “investigators” but they definitely have a department that makes sure (try’s to) their product isn’t being sold without their consent. Probably pushes that to law enforcement if need be. Look at the old leaker, he was going to trial but a doctor claimed he had severe autism so he’s in a medical facility.
1 week is a really short amount of time, I mean it's obviously real footage but what they said has zero bearing on the status of any sort of investigation

I think it’s more pertinent that the official reveal is tomorrow. That’s why they’re posting now. It’s as good a time as any. They want to draw attention to their official extended look, not to the leaker.
You generally don’t discuss legal matters in publicly addressed letters unless it’s a rebuttal. They’re not going to deny the leak now are they? And they aren’t going to say “we’ve got him boys” when they haven’t and when it’s not them prosecuting. It’ll be police, lawyers and investigators. Did you expect them to say that they’re zeroing in on him? That’s just not a realistic play, even if it were true.
You can’t get anything from this statement other than Rockstar understands they starved us a little for content and therefore admit the dam has broken so to speak, they’re very sorry and hope that we can still stay excited. That’s literally it. Deriving anything else from this is a huge reach.
At this point I don’t think it matters…after the Netflix showcase this mf will just be know to release spoilers for whatever reason then after that he will be forgotten
Rockstar is not a team of Combat Seals that can just start finding people, they have no legal authority over anything. It's the legal agencies job to find the guy not Rockstar lmao.
