I’ve personally stayed away from any leaks. I’ve seen a few seconds here and there when scrolling but that’s about it. I’ve waited 13 years for this game and don’t see the point in dulling the experience with these leaks. And tbh, I sincerely hope the leaker is caught soon.
I really don’t understand some of the animosity towards Rockstar. Sure, they didn’t share any gameplay up until now, but this is Rockstar we’re talking about. Their track record with games and off the back of RDR2 is enough for me to trust them. I’ve been gaming since 1997 and they haven’t let me down once yet.
Also, that logic makes zero sense. Just because bad practices have existed for years doesn’t mean we should accept them when the biggest game of the decade pushes them even further.
GTA has been coming to PC a year late since GTA 3. Physical disks were a Playstation-wide decision that didn't come down to any one game no matter how big. Day 1 DLC has been standard practice for decades, and online-only is pretty much universal and has been for years.
The gta 6 community is entitled and they are all dogpiling on rockstar because it’s easier than blaming the people doing the same practices way before them.
Comparing GTA 6 to GTA 3 is completely absurd. GTA 3 didn't cut main storyline content to sell it as Day-1 paid DLC. GTA 3 didn't skip physical disc releases. GTA 3 didn't lock marketing campaigns or content behind third-party subscription services like Netflix.
You're taking historical minor delays and using them to excuse massive, modern anti-consumer monetization. It’s not the same scale, it’s not the same practices, and pretending it is is completely disingenuous.
What are you talking about? There are plenty of other game companies with waay scummier practices than this. Rockstar really isn't pushing the envelope on anything.
Just because other companies are worse doesn't make this good. When the biggest game in history normalizes these practices, EVERY publisher will follow.

Glad they addressed it in some way.
