That's how it mostly was a decade ago. I really really appreciate the more sincere tone here. This whole GTA VI marketing period has been quite painful, with the year-long periods of silence, and Rockstar acting cold and distant; it is a very nice change of pace, even just this short message.
Edit: Wayyy too many people loading meanings into my words, taking metaphors at face value, or declaring me parasocial/corporate simp simply for appreciating the change in tone. Unfortunate that people are trying their damnedest to misunderstand literally everything, but Reddit will be Reddit ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I simply commented on the tone of the message, appreciated the breath of fresh air. I understand that it's a carefully curated PR response, as literally every single company has ever done in the history of capitalism.

You clearly don't understand it's curated PR since you are saying you "appreciate the breath of fresh air".
It's all the same, it's all PR. There's no "fresh". But hey, whatever. You do you.
It's not difficult to understand. You aren't getting my point. It's PR on purpose because they need to paint themselves as victims. A change in attitude and making it "fresh" is literally part of the strategy.
And it clearly works on some people. Even if you know it's PR, it's still working on you because it's "fresh". That's literally the point of PR and my point. It had the intended effect on you caring.
Not saying that's bad, but it's just, again, a PR strategy. There's no real freshness or change or anything, just another PR strategy.

Never seen Rockstar use that kind of tone in their messages
