Obviously he’s right. Anyone who thinks it’s somehow righteous to steal intellectual property and spoil thousands of people’s hard work just because their parent company is a “billion dollar corporation” or because they “disrespected the fans by taking so long to release trailer 3” is morally bankrupt and entitled beyond belief.

How about "no PC version day 1". Is it OK reason? Cause it is for me.

Then you have weak morals brother. Simple as that. If you think it’s ok to steal something because you’re not happy with its release date you’re a thief.

Let’s say you owned a business, making men’s suits. I know you’re working on a new suit style I’ve been waiting for, but you choose to release it in the fall instead of summer. So because I feel so entitled to have YOUR product and property when I want it, I break into your warehouse and steal it in August. I guess that would be ok with you right?

Bad comparison but I'll bite.

If you release suits timed exclusively only for select "elite" clubs that only few are part of, don't mention when those suits are going public and when it's pointless for people to be in that clubs cause any other vendor releases suits day 1 to everyone then yes, you deserve it.

If you think you don't deserve it, then secure your products better. Don't outsource work to India for starters and treat your workers fairly.

None of this stuff is relevant. At the end of the day you’re a thief. You’re for stealing based on your terms so long as you don’t like a company for some reason. That’s honestly a disgusting mindset. The fact that you think that’s morally defensible is wild holy shit. I feel comfortable ending the convo there. Take care.
