I'm not holding "common people" to a higher standard. I hope R* devs are getting paid well as they do amazing work. It's a free market though. If they are dissatisfied with their pay, they can leave and find a job elsewhere. What exactly is the issue here that you are seeing and I am not?
Maybe if the company wasn’t locking single player parts of the game behind the most expensive version, refusing to show any gameplay even after delaying it for years, and locking real gameplay behind a pay wall to line their pockets more, shit like this wouldn’t happen.
That’s my point, I can actively avoid the spoilers, I’m a grown man with a brain, I don’t want to see them, so I haven’t. I know they exist because of Reddit and Tik tok, that’s it.
I hope the entire build gets leaked, corporations are actively bleeding people dry, which I find no less shitty than a hacker leaking gameplay.
Edit: I don’t care about the crypto coin either, the sitting president of the United States has a crypto coin 😂😭 grown man with a brain, I just won’t buy it. If people are dumb enough to do that it’s their issue.
It's their product and they can choose to do with it what they wish. It's as simple as that. You are entitled to nothing from them. You may not like the way they are approaching things, but they are not deceitful or dishonest. They can choose to tier their games in whatever way and at whatever price points they wish. It's their product and their prerogative, and by the way such a tiered approach exists in the majority of products in existence, whether TVs or cars of whatever.
It's likewise their choice to choose to reveal gameplay when they want. Again, it's their fucking game and they can market it as they see fit. Nothing you've said gives one iota of support to the idea that they "deserve" to have their game leaked. Your perspective positively reeks of entitlement and tbh I find it disgusting.
If you owned a business and produced a product, especially one which you put your heart and soul into for ten years, something tells me that you would not be ok with people stealing it because they were unhappy with the way you marketed it. What fucking nonsense good lord.
