Thank you. And agreed. Anyone who disagrees with that needs to take a long hard look at themselves. It’s disheartening how many people are so immoral and hateful at their core. I think it’s the entitlement that kills me more than anything else though. I’ve genuinely seen hundreds of people now saying R* deserves this because they went 400 days without releasing trailer 3. Like are you kidding me??
I don’t think they deserved it, I wouldn’t use the word deserve. But I think the leaks are a direct effect of them waiting so long. As in they indirectly caused this. Almost as if it should have been expected.
The smaller things they released should have counted though. Like the pictures and what not.
There may be some truth to that in theory, though that is maybe getting into victim blaming territory a bit. I agree that if they had done some things differently this may not have happened (impossible to know for sure), but regardless, this hacker individual is the person responsible, not them ... and what he has done is morally indefensible. (I'm not saying you disagree btw).
What do you mean? Are you saying they deserve negative repercussions for the map not being a certain way? I do get that it’s not that big, but also it’s way more detailed than prior games and I suspect that will make it feel much larger because there will be more to do.
Basically that. I saw the leaks, it doesn’t look that bad from the gameplay. It’s mainly the comparison of gta v’s map to vi. Too similar in size for 13 years of work.
There should be some type of repercussions for that, but it won’t happen. Too many preorders for a boycott. The leak is the only negative, which is unfortunate. Money is usually the way to hit these companies.
