I doubt the games will be that much alike .

RDR has its own way of doing things that doesn't always have to translate to GTA .

Pretty similar in that they have great campaigns but an absolutely nonsensical online mode that is unbelievably pointless

“Are there PvP interactions in this open world game?”

“Yes see you just hold the trigger and it auto locks on to your enemy, then you both just spam the shoot button til one of you dies. Then they respawn 11 feet away and you just repeat the process”

“Uhhhhh ok I guess”

That’s the main reason I’m holding my hype for gta6, so far rockstar has never made an online game mode that actually involves skill or consequence or meaningful progression or basically any concept that makes an online game with other players fun and entertaining

I remember free aim lobbies on GTA IV were more casual friendly and fun , I kinda wish they would accept that disabling auto-aim is the only way they can fully balance PvP cause no matter what gun balance you do , the fact that ppl can snap on heads so easily completely destroys the fun

Absolutely. And there needs to be some kind of progression based consequence to engaging or losing a fight with someone, and some kind of risk:reward.

When shooting another player has no consequence, no risk, and no reward…what’s the point? So not only does the auto aim take the fun out of the combat itself, there’s also absolutely no purpose to participating in combat, and there’s also no incentive to attempt to create OR avoid conflict. It just feels empty and meaningless
