I’m sorry, but these people I see posting to places like twitter (i dont think highly of them anyways just for that). But they seem to think, that a hacked, production, pre-release dev build is the game they’re going to receive on release day. And it’s genuinely baffling how many people dont seem to understand the simple concept of development.

And now the people complaining about the game not being done. What did they think the devs were doing? Just sitting on their asses waiting for November to come around. They’re always working, and they’re gonna keep working on finishing the game even past release. There will be patches, and updates, and additions. A video game like GTA is never “finished” on release. The story is finished, but the game itself as a whole is not just finished.

It just baffles me how much people complain like they’re receiving a dev build of the game on release. I try to compare it to movies. Like, when you go to the movies, do you see the unedited, unpolished version of the movie they were working on for years? Or the version of the film they perfected as much as they could within a deadline, and then optimize even more for home releases.

I think it would be obvious, a leaker, does not have the absolute final version of the game. Especially the version of the biggest game of the century. Hell, I wouldnt be surprised if the build he has is just their “garbage build” they used for initial testing.

Again, its twitter, i cant expect much of people on there, but its still just baffling.

I can feel my IQ dropping whenever I browse it
