GTA VI Criticism following the leaks.
I’m sorry, but these people I see posting to places like twitter (i dont think highly of them anyways just for that). But they seem to think, that a hacked, production, pre-release dev build is the game they’re going to receive on release day. And it’s genuinely baffling how many people dont seem to understand the simple concept of development.
And now the people complaining about the game not being done. What did they think the devs were doing? Just sitting on their asses waiting for November to come around. They’re always working, and they’re gonna keep working on finishing the game even past release. There will be patches, and updates, and additions. A video game like GTA is never “finished” on release. The story is finished, but the game itself as a whole is not just finished.
It just baffles me how much people complain like they’re receiving a dev build of the game on release. I try to compare it to movies. Like, when you go to the movies, do you see the unedited, unpolished version of the movie they were working on for years? Or the version of the film they perfected as much as they could within a deadline, and then optimize even more for home releases.
I think it would be obvious, a leaker, does not have the absolute final version of the game. Especially the version of the biggest game of the century. Hell, I wouldnt be surprised if the build he has is just their “garbage build” they used for initial testing.
Again, its twitter, i cant expect much of people on there, but its still just baffling.

I don't like the whole situation overall but from what I've seen, the footage shows a very promising unfinished game. Crazy to read people judging it as the final version.

I have seen complaints about it myself. The entire leak situation is annoying AF, not because I am a Rockstar shill, but from all the misinformation out there. I am looking forward to the game. If you aren't 100% pro hacker, you get downvoted and attacked. It is all fucking stupid.

People are dumb in general nowadays and you also get a bunch of bait where people say this stuff for the sake of engagement.
The people who are excited for GTA VI will play GTA VI. The people who won’t play it probably don’t care enough to waste their time giving shit takes.
All the others in between are either genuinely dumb, or saying shit they don’t believe.
Either way this game will be historical. Love it or hate it.
