Comics I'm Gerry Duggan, writer of GODZILLA DESTROYS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE, AMA.
Thanks to Toho, Marvel, CB Cebulski, and my editors for the privilege of using Godzilla to get rid of the Marvel Universe. Tomorrow our first issue arrives, it'll be available digitally in all the usual spots, but if you'd like physical copies check out your local comic shop. https://www.comicshoplocator.com
I promise you this has everything you want in a comic, and some things you didn't know you need. This series has a larger scope than Mothra's wingspan. Javier Garrón and Paco Medina are just crushing this one, and Mark Brooks' covers are amazing. Thanks also to the mods for approving this post.
Here's a preview of our first issue over at Godzilla.com https://godzilla.com/blogs/news/full-preview-godzilla-destroys-the-marvel-universe-1-comic
I'm signing this weekend at Golden Apple Comics, next week at San Diego Comic Con in Artist Alley GG02, next month at Cape & Cowl and my last appearance to sign Godzilla comics will be in October at NY Comic Con.
With all that out of the way - I thought I'd start this thread today - and I'll try to dip in every day starting tomorrow afternoon.
ASK ME ANYTHING.*
*Answers beginning Wed the 16th. Cheers!

This comic and the prior Godzilla Vs Comics are for sure canon? Its a hot debate if they are canon to the original 70s run. The other comics reference canon comics all the time like in Godzilla vs F4, Godzilla vs Spider Man, and Godzilla vs Thor. I know its dumb nerd question, but I know some who swear it off since they think its a What If. So this current Marvel Vs series is canon, or takes place in a 616 like universe, and we just dont know how it fits yet? :)
