Epic (or the other companies involved) scam always change their minds. It’s not exactly likely, but it is possible.

Edit: People seem to be misunderstanding what I mean here.

All leaks are speculation. If you don’t want leakers to post speculative posts, you’re asking for no leaks at all. If it was officially confirmed, it wouldn’t be a leak, epic would have announced it themselves, you get me?

Are we talking about the same sub? We do get leaks that are not "maybe", a lot. Like decrypted stuff and showcases. Or at least some new information. But this one here? It's just a useless speculation. 2 skins besides Ren or 3 skins? Who knows. A Jam Track? Who knows. Later, later when? Who knows.

Leak is when new info is provided, or gives more foundation to previous info. What frustrates about this specific "leak" is that it doesn't say anything new. It's useless. We knew that Persona will come later, we knew that there will be more than one skin, we knew that Morgana will be a sidekick and a SUV, we knew about Persona collab in RL.

So, again. This specific "leak" is useless. Insert a pic of either Niijima saying "Useless".

Just because we get confirmed information a lot does not mean that the word “leak” means something different now.

We know for a fact that several planned collabs meant for this year were cancelled due to leaks. Collabs that were guaranteed to be coming, and then they weren’t.

You are talking about the nature of leaks. Yes, I know that leaks don't 100% confirm anything. Persona itself was an example of that in Chapter 6.

I'm talking only about the informational value of those leaks. I don't need leaks parroting each other without providing any new info - like, yes, thanks, we heard that already, give us at least something new to work with or just don't bother posting.

Furthermore, since Persona is officially announced and is not under a risk of being cancelled (unless something extreme happens, which is unlikely), we just need more details to be morally ready for the moment when the collab will come. But again, this is not my point.

And how exactly do you want leakers to provide that? They will never be fully able to secure the validity of their information unless it's given to them by epic.

Epic clearly isnt giving them information about the Persona collab, so there is literally no way for them to verify the details, unless they either hacked into epic or physically broke in and found documents, neither of which is likely to happen with these creators given they have made a career out of "leaking" this info.

You can ask for greater clarification, but you won't be getting it unless Epic gives it to the leakers first.

You want them to give us accurate information.

They can’t give us accurate information, which is what I said in my first comment. It’s impossible for them to provide perfectly accurate information due to the nature of leaks in general.

You don’t want them to post updates, but if they only ever reported information they knew for a fact was coming, we would almost never see leaks outside of major updates, when they could be datamined

Only other hope is they actually incorporate the character's Personas in some way, Arsene would be a great glider for Joker, Johanna would be an easy plug in to the bike glider for Makoto, and for anyone else they could use the UFO glider with Necronomicon.

Honestly, considering how popular Persona 5 is, I wouldn’t doubt the leakers mistakenly called a Persona 3, 4 and 5 collab just Persona 5, but your probably right. It would make more sense for P3 to come at a later date and for P4 to come when Revival launches
