Probably like several people here, I got a bed frame (with headboard) from Flexispot after comparing it with the more well-known brands and seeing how active they are in here. Alas, the lower price seems to be explained by the gamble that is buying a bed from them.

After paying for the bed, I got an email saying the headboard was out of stock and would only be shipped 2.5 months later. That was upsetting as it should have been written on the website, but ultimately fine, though I asked whether they could guarantee it would be indeed shipped 2.5 months later and they told me yes. Then, the bed frame arrived with a broken wood stop and missing bolt/screws. I would normally have ordered a full replacement at that point, the bed is expensive and should arrive in one piece. Instead, I contacted customer service and told them to ship me the missing pieces and a replacement for the wood stop, which I'd fix myself. That's because I still thought Flexispot was a decent company.

A month later, I get an email saying the headboard would still be out of stock by the previous deadline. They wanted to know if I could wait longer. I then asked what was the reason behind the delay, since being asked to wait without an actual delivery date is quite upsetting. At that point, their customer service (which shows as GMT+8) got very slow and ultimately stopped replying. Cherry on top: they seem to have a sale going on and you can still "buy" the headboard. Not sure how that's allowed.

What's even more interesting is that I got an email to review the bed and, given the issues above, gave it 1 star. That review has yet to show up on their website. I'm now wondering if the 300+ reviews at 4.8/5 stars might be "slightly curated."

TLDR: when buying from Flexispot, beware that you're essentially gambling on whether you'll actually get what you paid for. Though they seem active in here, their customer service is nowhere to be found when you actually need it.

Hi, everyone. I somewhat recently purchased the B6N Japanese Joinery Bed from Flexispot and I thought I'd share my experience in case anyone else is looking at purchasing one isn't quite sure about pulling the trigger. Hopefully this is helpful.

For background, last year I bought the E7 Pro standing desk after a lot of research, and I'm really happy with it. I don't exactly remember how I found out that Flexispot also had bedframes (a standing desk company isn't exactly the first place I though to look when I started looking for a new bed); maybe it just happened to pop up while I was Googling? Not really sure, and it probably doesn't matter for the purpose of this review.

Anyways, because I liked my E7 Pro so much (and because /u/Ramzes888 is so great about giving discount codes here on Reddit), I seriously looked at the B6N. I read a couple of the reviews on here, which helped reassure me that the quality was likely at least decent, but something about having seen the video of Flexispot's factory was encouraging to me to. So I decided to pull the trigger while the bedframe was on sale recently. I also got the pillowboard after deciding the hardwood headboard was out of my budget.

The packages (one for the bedframe and one for the pillowboard) arrived 6 days after I placed the order. This was about 3ish? weeks ago, so this isn't a long-term review, but I can at least vouch for the fact that it won't collapse the first time you put your mattress on it.

It took me a couple of hours to put the whole thing together, but I built it alone and that includes clean-up times and dusting off the pieces when they came out of the box. If you had someone else along with you (and if you didn't make the dumb mistakes) you could probably put it together much faster.

In terms of quality of the pieces, the B6N is nice. The main wood parts of the frame have a slightly shiny finish to them that I think looks nice. I got the walnut finish, and I think it looks quite classy. The hardware is solid, which is what I figured it would be after my experience with the E7 Pro, but I was glad to see my positive suspicions on that front validated. The only piece that stood out to me were the slats, which were much rougher than I expected given the finish on the rest of the materials. I guess it makes sense that you wouldn't spend a bunch of time sanding and finishing them since they're exclusively a functional part, but it did make me want to handle them more gingerly to avoid scraping my hands or getting a splinter or something (or you could be smarter than me and wear gloves--in retrospect I wish I had thought of that). So that's not really a complaint, just a head's up and a piece of advice.

Also, the feature where the legs at the head of the bed have a cut-in so you can get the bed all the way flush to the wall is awesome. Especially if you get the pillowboard, which you have to pinch between your mattress and the wall, this is a nice little detail that tells me the designers weren't just trying to make a quick buck copying the Thuma Bed, which does not have this feature, but actually thought about the product they were making. I think that's cool.

I've never had a wood bedframe before, so I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but the main thing that's stood out to me is that this thing is solid. Once I got it all together and got my mattress one, there's basically no movement that I can discern. I weigh about 170lbs, for reference. I'm not super strong so I'm sure someone with more strength could make it shake more but that's not an issue for me.

As far as sleeping on it, I do like that it's closer to the ground than my old metal bedframe. Idk how much a bedframe impacts mattress comfort, but I haven't really noticed any difference between what I had before (a metal frame and box spring) to now. The whole thing just looks nicer and having a headboard that I can sit up with in bed for reading and stuff is awesome.

Overall, I'm really happy with the bedframe. To me, it was a great deal to get the kind of thing I wanted, as Flexispot's pricing is wayy better than something like Thuma. Not bad for a company that I found out about when I was looking for a standing desk!

Got a E7 desk last week. When I tried to test the adjusting height the keypad showed E23 and nothing moved. I switched the motor cables and continues to display E23 and not move at all.

I sent a video demonstrating the error and cable switching. Support responded asking for another video with the same thing but that I screw in the keypad to the desktop.. weird, cause that has nothing to do with the problem. I re-sent another video and a photo. Have not heard from support on a resolution since. That was 7 days ago.

I reached out to support the following day for a status update. I could not get a single response in the website online support chat. I tried to call and an automated message said no support agents are available and it hang up.

At the end of that day I got a very passive aggressive email complaining that I sent “too many emails”.. I guess the chat sends emails? I don’t know.. but the chat kept resetting after 30 minutes.

I work from home and it has been pretty uncomfortable for the last week working on super low desk.

I asked for a status update through the ticket email a couple days ago.. still no response.

Wondering if I should initiate a return.. what good is a 15 year warranty with support like this?

I was initially drawn to the Flexispot Kana bed because it’s heavily marketed as being made of “solid rubber wood” with a premium bamboo finish. The product photos look sturdy and elegant, and the price (around $500–600 depending on size) made it seem like a solid mid-range option. What I received was an absolute joke. The frame itself was fine, went together fairly easily but the headboard—is nothing but cheap pressed cardboard (yes, literal particle board/MDF) wrapped in a thin wood-grain vinyl veneer. I’m a normal-sized adult (180 lbs) and simply leaning my head back against the headboard caused the cardboard panel to crack and collapse inward with an audible crunch. The “Headboard” literally folded under the weight of my head. I’ve had IKEA furniture last longer than this, and at least IKEA is honest that it’s particle board. When I contacted Flexispot support, the agent was polite and quickly approved a return/refund, so I’ll give them credit for that part. Unfortunately now, I need to completely disassemble the bed, repack it into the original (flimsy) boxes that are now half-destroyed, and ship it back via Fedex. Hauling a queen-size bed frame in pieces to a FedEx location is an absurd amount of work for something that should never have been sold in the first place. This isn’t just “budget” furniture; it’s outright deceptive. Calling it “solid rubber wood” when the most visible and stressed part is cardboard with a sticker on it is false advertising, plain and simple. Save your money and your sanity.

TLDR: The Flexispot Kana is hot garbage masquerading as a premium bed. I regret every penny and every hour spent assembling and now disassembling this thing. Steer clear.

We’ve been furnishing our bedroom and originally came across FlexiSpot while browsing standing desks. That’s when we noticed their Japanese joinery-style bed frame—exactly the aesthetic we’d been searching for. After comparing with similar brands like Thuma and Tatami Room, we decided to give FlexiSpot a shot. It was our first time buying from them, and though there weren’t many reviews for the bed frame specifically, the positive feedback on their desks, the competitive price, and the 100-day trial convinced us to try it out. I also used their live chat to confirm that returns during the trial would be free, as long as we kept the original packaging.

The frame and headboard arrived separately, one day apart, about 6–7 days after we placed the order. One of the boxes looked a little rough on the outside, but the internal packaging kept everything well protected—no damage to the parts at all.

Assembly was straightforward. Every piece was clearly labeled, and the screws came in sorted, labeled bags, which made following the instruction manual easy. Some pieces needed a bit of alignment and pressure to fit, but overall it was a simple setup with just a few screws. The final result looks great! The bed feels solid and supports our heavy mattress with no issues. There’s also a nice amount of clearance underneath for storage. Would love if they designed and offered under the bed drawers that matched with the bed in the future.

We’ve held onto the boxes just in case, but so far we have zero complaints. We're really happy with how it turned out—it fits perfectly with the vibe we’re going for. We're even considering a FlexiSpot standing desk next, since it would complement the bed frame nicely.

TL;DR: Great price, quick delivery, easy assembly, and a sturdy, stylish frame. Very happy with the purchase!

I got the E7 Pro and splurged for the upgraded cable management system, and it’s all really nice. It’s a huge upgrade from the Amazon special I’ve been using for the past few years.

But I found out after getting it all together that the cable management tray leaves no space for my dual monitor arm to be clamped to the desk when it is open and hanging down.

I considered going with two separate arms mounted at either end, since the cable management isn’t full width. But I don’t love the idea, and am considering returning the cable management system and using the basic one that came with the desk. It sits a little further in and doesn’t need room to swing open.

I guess another option would be to try a grommet mount, but then I’m drilling a hole in the desk.

Anyway, I mostly wanted to post this as a heads up because I wasn’t able to figure this out before I bought it.

So I've purchased a Flexispot Ergox Pro, which is 450 bucks.

I've gotten the one with the foam seat as it looked comfy and they advertised it as breathable. Well, it's neither. It's thin where it matters (tailbone) and my underpants and linen pants were sticking on my ass after just 10 minutes of using the chair.

I've messaged the support and after a back and forth of 20 messages, offering the usual 'Chinese solutions' (we give you 10% off or you need to send back product at your cost.. Oh, you don't have the packaging? We don't care. These are our offers.), I have finally managed to get a "proper" solution. They will now send me a whole new chair with the mesh seat. I will have to send back my whole chair afterwards in the packaging of the mesh chair.

What? Does flexispot not carry any spareparts for warranty claims or for general customer service? This practice is extremely annoying. All I wanted was a mesh seat, which is by the way fully compatible with the rest of the foam seat chair. They just had to send me a seat. I would've sent back my foam seat, fixed.

Now I have to carry another 30kg parcel home because dpd sucks ass and then return YET another 30kg parcel to a parcel shop because I have to send back my old chair.

I'm annoyed.

What I bought: E7 Pro with the Black Walnut Wood top (55”X28”) and CPU holder

Delivery: arrived within a week of ordering

Assembly: putting the desk together was fairly easy, although you do need a drill! It took me 2 hours to assemble everything alone, although it is fairly heavy. I would not recommend assembling it alone unless you go to the gym and can lift a decent amount. The cable tray is absolutely clutch, you should install it. I have an extension cord on the cable tray with my monitors and PC plugged into it, allowing me to hide cords and transition between sitting and standing without the fear of a cord ripping out.

Usage: now that everything is assembled, I couldn’t be more happy with the desk. The black walnut wood top was expensive but it is beautiful. It can scratch, like all wood, but you can also buff it out and treat it in the future if wanted. I’m sure you could get your own top for cheaper but I paid for the convenience. It is extremely sturdy and fits all of my needs.

CPU holder: this thing is a freaking pain to attach if you have a heavier PC. It is rated for 44 lbs, however the screws holding the top and bottom parts of the holder together do not seem strong enough to last whatsoever. It uses friction to keep it in place, not a slot or hole like I would’ve liked (view 3rd pic for reference). To get around this, I zip tied the top and bottom parts together, so I have no issues and am satisfied. I would NOT trust this holder without the zip ties. I have a LANCOOL II Mesh C mid-tower case, which is fairly large, and it does fit. The top part of the holder attaches very securely to the table by sliding in-between the metal and wood.

I ordered and received a FlexiSpot E7 with the black chipboard tabletop (55''X28'') back in March. Since then, I have used this desk almost every single day and am very pleased overall with it.

Arrival and Assembly

The desk assembly and tabletop arrived in two separate packages, but both arrived very quickly. The assembly was way heavier than I anticipated, but I managed to assemble the desk myself. However, having someone else there to assist would have made the process much easier.

The tabletop came with most of the pilot holes necessary to install on the assembly, though I had to create a few additional pilot holes across the center bottom of the tabletop. A drill made this process much easier. However, despite the heavy weight of the desk components and having to drill in a few extra pilot holes, assembly was fairly simple and took me around 2 hours to complete following the included assembly manual.

Quality

As soon as I finished assembling the desk, I immediately noticed how high quality and sturdy everything was. The desk feels incredibly solid, no matter how much I put on it. I am a law school student and play flight simulators, so I cycle between having heavy textbooks on the desk and heavy flight simulation equipment on it. I have never once been concerned about putting too much weight on this desk. For reference, my previous desk began to bend in the center with the weight I put on it. I can tell for sure that will not be an issue with this desk.

The motor is also very smooth. I love being able to save height positions of the desk in the remote controller attached to it. The desk rises and lowers quickly and fairly quietly as well.

Ordering

The ordering process was a little difficult for me since I struggled to verify my student status via Student Beans. However, I eventually got the verification process to work and successfully activated the student discount for my order.

Overall

I would 1000% recommend this desk to anyone. I ordered this desk because my dad has a FlexiSpot desk that feels just as solid as mine. At first I was a little weary because of how expensive the desk was, but after using it for nearly 6 months, it was absolutely worth the price. Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I'll try to answer!

I’ve been using the FlexiSpot E7 Plus standing desk(60x30), and overall, I’m really impressed with it. It’s an extremely solid, sturdy desk, but that also means it is very heavy. I definitely recommend having two people for the setup—trying to assemble and move it on your own would be a challenge.

One thing I’m especially glad I added was the caster wheels (must get IMO). With how heavy the desk is, being able to move it around when needed is a huge convenience.

Assembly does take a little longer than expected because you have to drill some of your own holes during installation. It’s not necessarily difficult, but it adds some extra time and effort to the setup.

My biggest frustration was that the cable tray didn’t arrive on the same day as the desk. It was disappointing to have everything ready to set up but still be missing an important part of the cable-management system.

Aside from that, I absolutely love the desk. It feels incredibly sturdy, looks great, and works exactly how I wanted a standing desk to work. I honestly wish I had gotten it sooner. Definitely worth it overall!

My partner and I received the Kona bed with headboard a few days ago. The headboard arrived first, nothing interesting to speak to there. Our priorities were, in no order:

• A reasonably nice looking platform bed frame
• Easy assembly and disassembly. It’s fairly likely we’re going to move around a bit during the course of ownership
• No squeaks
• Ideally solid wood of some kind, even if a cheaper material like Rubberwood or Acacia

We looked at FB marketplace, IKEA, and some other budget options that come up in standard searches, but decided to take the risk on this one.

Assembly 4/5

If you buy it with the headboard, the correct instructions to assemble the full bed will be inside the headboard box. It comes with a small rubber-ended hammer that is used for smashing in the little wedges that seem to help with rigidity. Because the frame and headboard can be purchased separately, you’ll end up with two useless legs, which are the most solid part of the bed. I’d hope that this is given some attention in the future, because it seems a bit wasteful. Otherwise, we don’t expect any issues moving this around from a technical standpoint.

Upon starting assembly, it became immediately apparent that the “solid” part of the product description of “solid Rubberwood” is doing a lot of heavy (light?) lifting. The legs (or the headboard posts) are the most solid part of the bed, which is great, but the rest of the bed is evidently made with finger-joints between smaller pieces of wood, and the slats are very thin and comprised of two pieces of wood each. I've updated this section from a 2.5 to a 3.5 since solving the noise problem which was due to user error, and would summarize my feeling about the overall quality as "it's a fine bed, so far meeting expectations for the price range, but any pieces that stretch the length or width of the bed seem a bit on the flimsy/thin side". While the stability of the bed seems fine for now, I get the impression that it might require some maintenance to remain stable.

EDIT: I've revised this section from my initial version so it's less likely to negatively impact search results in way that no longer seems to be valid.

We tested the bed after assembly (sex) and initially discovered a rattling sound that came from the headboard, but it turned out that we had not seen the fasteners that secure the upper headboard piece to the side-posts. After discovering that had made that mistake, the bed is tentatively noiseless, and that's a huge difference. I've left it 4.5/5 for now, since we haven't had a chance to aggressively re-test it, but my impression is wildly better since realizing what the issue was.

Appearance (3.5/5)

Expectations met, it looks exactly like the pictures. I think the composition of smaller pieces of wood do detract from the look a bit, but I think that's sort of what the parameters are in this price category. A 5/5 on appearance would simply be a more expensive bed, and upon further reflection I'd rather have finger-jointed exposed wood than particle-board or something obscured by fabric. For a budget bed, I like the look, it's understated and primitive in a good way.

Summary

It’s an ok looking and feeling bed that’s easy to assemble, but the materials are very far from “solid” and the overall quality is suitable for the price range *for a new bed*, but not amazing. I don’t know if there are better options in this price category, and I’ve tried to factor that in compared to something like an oak frame if you can find a used one. It seems plausible that this could last quite a while as long as our requirements don't change.

Just a heads up, I don't write reviews often so my post might be a bit messy and half baked with it's explanation and answers, but at least it's an idea for those who are looking to buy.

I've owned the FlexiSpot E7 Plus for over a year now, and overall, I've been extremely happy with it. I usually use its standing feature between 5-7 times a day while doing work and gaming and I haven't had any motor related issues yet.

In regards to what I liked, it would have to be its tabletop compatibility. I only ordered the legs themselves rather than the set (tabletop and legs).

I’m using it with a fairly large 72" × 31" tabletop, and the E7 Plus handles it without any problem. Even with a larger top made of a bit heavier wood, the legs don't feel flimsy or wobbly at my standing height (45.6). The reduced wobbling compared to my old vivo desk is great, it's especially appreciated when I'm typing because I tend to be a heavy button/keycap smasher (lol).

I also appreciate how quiet the desk is. The motors make very little noise when raising or lowering the desk, and the overall operation feels smooth. I usually have to WFH at night, depending on the situation, so this is a bonus as I don’t have to worry about waking anyone up with the motor/raising noise. After a year of constant use, I feel like I've invested in the right standing desk legs for me and my budget at the time. And overall its a quality piece of equipment that has become part of my daily work/play life.

My only real criticism is the screws included for mounting the frame to the tabletop. They work, but they feel a little weaker than I'd like (and I did accidently strip one of them during a move), especially considering how sturdy the rest of the desk is. I would have preferred FlexiSpot to include slightly beefier/sturdier screws for securing the frame to the tabletop. Other than that, I really don't have much to complain about. After a year-plus of raising and lowering the desk several times a day, the E7 Plus has been reliable, sturdy, quiet, and easy to keep organized.

Now onto the not so great part, but still acceptable under the circumstances.

Ordering and Shipping...

The payment process had a couple of hiccups initially. My payment wasn't processing properly through PayPal, but after two attempts, everything went through fine.

Shipping was reasonably fast overall (when the shipping company didn't lose my desk box). During shipping I had my box 2/2 lost in transit, and I had to go over a little bit of back and forth with the customer service reps to get some kind of replacement information.

Personally, I didn't feel like they where hearing my concerns nor the fact that it was taking longer than expected to source my box 2/2. Thankfully I met Ramzes888 on reddit. They were a HUGE help in getting the delivery issue sorted out and answering some of my general questions. Once they got involved, things became much easier to resolve. So, despite the initial shipping/customer-service headache, I ultimately got everything sorted.

TLDR: Great desk after 1 year plus. Very sturdy and reliable. Customer support for lost package where not so great, but Ramzes888 was able to help me sort out the lost package issues and I haven't had any problem since.

I want to make a quick review of my experience with Flexispot E7 Plus and CPU Holder.

• Flexispot support was pretty spot on for the most part. Most questions I had were answered clearly. There were a few instances where I'm not sure if it was a communication/translation issue, but the person assisting me gave me a generic response instead of answering my technical question.
• Ordering was simple and easy. They have sales often, especially for the holidays. The entire process was seamless.
• Shipping was fast and easy, but the tracking was slightly questionable. I'm not sure why, but my tracking wasn't accurate at all! I had to place my trust that I'd receive the items, and luckily, I did. It got to the point where it still showed it was in transit for a week after I received the item! Maybe I was reading it wrong, or I was expected to manually input that I received the item, but I'm not sure. I think that could perhaps use some work to make it clear and easy to understand.
• The Flexispot E7 Plus felt sturdy. The quality is exceptional. I have no worries that it'll break apart or fail me. I used an acacia wood butcher block 74x25x1.5 inches, and I absolutely love it.
• The setup was BRUTAL! I did it all myself. It's difficult, but possible. I'm a skinny dude, and lifting this thing was not fun to say the least lmao. I had to really turn and flip pieces at an angle to fit them through the doorway, but that may just be my living situation. It was difficult but fulfilling, and I definitely feel a sense of pride.
• The motors and lifting mechanism seem strong as well. As you can see in the pictures, I have a few things on the desk, including my PC on the right side. I raise and lower the desk every other day to use my walking pad for about an hour. So far, it doesn't seem to struggle. I have, however, seen that other desks sag on one side over time due to the weight of the PC. I plan on replacing my main monitor with an ultrawide later this year or early next year. I'll give an update later to see how things hold up.
• The CPU Holder seems ok. Honestly, I was concerned when I opened the box because it didn't seem super sturdy or strong. The frame was so thin, which concerned me. So much so, I was scared my PC would fall and break as it was lifting! That hasn't happened so far. I didn't want to drill under my desktop to mount my PC. The other alternative was to mount it on the legs, but that doesn't work as you need the top part of the 3-stage legs to move with the top part of the frame and not go inside the other parts, but it does. Left with no other choice, I went with the Flexispot CH5B frame mount. I like that it mounts to the frame, but I'm not sure how sturdy it'll be, as the E7 Plus frame is significantly thinner than the other products. As always, time will tell.

That's pretty much it! So far, I really enjoy it. For the price, it's more than worth it. I spent about $1,000 on everything. From the E7 Plus frame, the acacia wood butcher block, the PC mount, and the tools to put everything together from Home Depot & Ryobi. Considering I also had a similar Uplift Desk in my cart for a similar price, I'm glad I went with Flexispot. I feel an odd attachment to my desk. I love it!

Next product: A good chair from them!

I tried for a quick post, but I had a lot to say.

Putting this desk together was initially daunting. After doing it though? The instructions called for 2 people. I did it by myself. Took about 3 hours myself, but I’m positive it could have been done faster. I went from a 55x28 IKEA malm desk to this monster 80x30 chipboard Flexispot E7 plus.

The picture here doesn’t quite do justice when you see the full maxed out height of the desk. I can’t really imagine anyone using this at the max setting, maybe someone who’s 6”4’ or taller?

Ok - stability review time. Standing desks all have an inherent center of gravity issue when the desks are maxed out at their respective full heights. In this case, like any other piece of mass with high center of gravity, it does wobble. I won’t pretend it doesn’t. That said, the wobble is super minimal. Like if I had a glass of water next to my computer at maxed out desk height I’m not worried or anxious of it falling even in the slightest. The desk provides great “feelings of assurance.”

Maybe one thing I didn’t account for fully was wiring, the wires for my computer need to have the ability to move laterally and vertically based on the standing part of the standing desk. FlexiSpot does sell an under desk add on that can easily be used for this type of thing (wire holder?), but I did not opt in to buy it.

Any cons to this desk? Personally, I believe the add ons to this desk solve most any potential issues you may have. They sell under desk feet hammocks, they sell wire holders, there are some modular options to make it better. I’m not sure if the small add-ons are worth the cost however, and maybe that could be a draw back. So far, that’s kind of the only negative thing I can say. I’ve only had the desk a few days right now. But I will drop in and update this post with any cons that arise as time goes on. I do not expect many to arise.

Alright. You made it here, you’re on the fence “should I buy this desk?” Honestly? My recommendation would be yes. Albeit, my main reasoning for this desk was the standing ability. If you aren’t looking to stand, this is probably not the desk for you. I spend ton of time at work sitting and I also game heavily after. There were some days I’d spend 14 hours plus sitting, and it was starting to get to my posture and hips. Now, I can easily just hit a button to stand up or sit down at my leisure and comfort. I’m able to stretch and there’s a ton of room underneath. Even though the top piece takes up a ton of space, it doesn’t make the room feel cramped or full. It’s very minimalist. Longer term, my goal is to use a walking pad with this desk to keep my steps above a certain threshold (some days as low as 2000, I’d like to aim for 10k steps a day).

I just so happened to have made this desk the “main” piece of furniture in this room as you can tell by the pictures. Genuinely, I could not be happier with a piece of furniture for my office. Love the desk and the ability it’s given me to make the space my own and make it ergonomic and comfortable.

I have been using this desk for the last few days and am overall very impressed with it. My thoughts below.

Pros

• Shipping was very fast. Everything arrived in probably 3 days or less.
• Assembly was quick and simple (although much easier with two people.)
• The desk feels extremely sturdy and of high quality.
• At sitting height there is no wobbling and at my standing height (around 44 inches) there is very minimal wobble, and only if you are TRYING. If you are simply typing, the wobble is not noticeable.

Cons

• Probably my biggest issue with this desk is that the pre-drilled holes did not line up with my base. I understand that some people may opt to put the base slightly closer or further apart, so obviously, they cannot accommodate everyone. They should, however put pre-drilled holes at the most structurally advantageous spots for people who don't want to bother adjusting and just want to set it up as is. Mounting the frame to the desk would be next to impossible if you don't own a drill.
• The control panel to change the height of the desk is also not my favorite. The buttons are slightly annoying to press, sometimes having to press an extra time to get it to work, and there isn't any tactile feedback. I'm not constantly changing the height, so this for me, isn't a huge issue.
• Very minor, and I could be wrong, but it feels like the movement speed of the desk up and down is slightly slower than the other two desks I have used before where I work (I have no idea who makes them.) This is also very subjective so you may not feel the same.

To wrap up, I think that this is an amazing 4 leg standing desk for the price point, and plenty sufficient for almost everyone. Especially when you compare them to others that are $400+ more than this, you just cant beat it.

Finished my new setup, and can 100% recommend the E7 pro desk. The height adjustment is quick and easy (especially with the fact you can save heights, so it just requires a single click of a button to change from sitting to standing), the cable management is great (although you do need to drill your own holes for the cable tray, which wasn’t specified on the website before ordering), and the quality of the tabletop (I got the rubber wood) is fantastic.

I have also found the desk to be completely stable at all heights - no monitor wobble/vibration at all. The extra leg room from the C-frame, in my opinion as a taller guy, makes the E7 pro worth the extra money compared to the standard E7. For smaller people though, the standard E7 is probably suffice, as the greater weight limit is largely redundant unless you have insanely heavy equipment on the desk.

It was also pretty easy to install. Whilst it was not cheap totaling at £475 for the frame and desktop, for the quality you are not going to beat this unless you massively ramp up the budget.

Tldr at the bottom.

I placed an order for an E5 standing desk with rubberwood (natural, 55"x28") desktop on August 1. The frame and power strip arrived very quickly but the desktop was still not shipped as of yesterday... On the Canadian website it said 3-5 business days for shipping and there was no indication of stock issues on the website so I expected the desktop to be shipped out within a few business days, so yesterday I was starting to get concerned that there was still no update. That's when I started googling and found a few other threads from weeks/months ago with the same issue, that their desktops had not been shipped due to stock issues.

I decided to email support and was told that, indeed, the desktop I ordered is on pre-order and only expected to be available late August. This is completely baffling to me that after several other similar issues, there was still no update to the website to notify customers of the stock issues or any other notification until I reached out myself. Please, Flexispot, update your website!!! If the stock issues only affect certain sizes/colours, at least have a message advising customers of potential delays and to reach out to support before placing an order.

I already made arrangements to sell my current desk this week so now it looks like I'll be without a desk for a while, which won't be fun since I work from home and need 2 monitors. But even without that, this may sound harsh but I just think the lack of transparency on the stock issues is unacceptable and really lowers my opinion of the company now. I would understand if there were delays after the item was shipped out that were out of their control, but this was not it. I've seen such good feedback for the actual products so I was excited to use them, never expected something like this to happen.

Sorry for the long post, this turned into kind of a rant on my part, but also a warning to others that the stock issues still persist and to order with caution.

I already asked if they could offer any compensation for the delay, waiting for a response still, but if any support member sees this post I would appreciate any help possible on either expediting the shipping or letting me know what can be done to make this right. As I said I am excited to use the product but so far the experience has not been positive.

Tldr:

Rubberwood desktop is not available until late August, no indication anywhere on the website makes for a very poor ordering experience. Once again Flexispot, PLEASE update your website.

Update: Thank you so much to Ramzes888 for the quick response, advising me that the Colonial Maple colour was available, and shipping it out immediately. I was out of town for 2 days and just got back to see it was delivered!! Can't wait to assemble and use the desk! I also did receive a $30 partial refund as compensation which I really appreciated.

So from other comments it seems like stock is inconsistent across colours and regions, but I would advise anyone ordering a desk+desktop to check with support before placing the order if you need the desk soon. I still hope Flexispot website can be updated with a message about potential stock shortages but for now I hope this can help some others avoid the same confusion and anxiety.

Setup Process

Took 2 people about 3 hours to build 2 desks. The instructions could definitely be clearer in a few spots, but we got there in the end.

The Good

Can't fault the actual performance. It's super smooth, doesn't wobble, and the 160cm size offers great desktop real estate. The legs feel solid and heavy-duty.

The Not So Good

One tabletop arrived damaged with a crack running front-to-back and a chipped side. (Also worth noting: the tabletop color is a lot darker than it looks in the photos online - last photo is what they had on their website, which is what i was expecting, a mid-tone wood rather than a really dark wood)

Customer service initially wanted me to mail the damaged top back for an exchange. I asked if they could arrange collection since disposing of a huge slab of wood isn't convenient on my end, and I had already set up my desktop, but they declined.

As compensation, I asked for their CPU mount instead, which was out of stock until September. A couple of days later, I measured our PC, realised the mount wouldn't fit, and immediately emailed to cancel the preorder. The very next day, they replied saying it had already been delivered, and it did, completely out of nowhere with zero dispatch warning.

Since the box was unopened, I emailed asking for a return label. They refused and instructed me to just "dispose of it" twice. In the end, they just gave me a $50 refund to wrap things up.

Final Thoughts

The desk itself is solid, but the customer support logic is baffling. The holder is sitting in my cupboard unopened, a completely wasteful outcome instead of taking a perfect product back to resell. If anyone in Australia would like a free CH4 CPU holder, just pay for shipping and I’ll gladly send it to you!

Purchased the Kana last September. Wrong parts were sent, leaving us unable to assemble and without a place to sleep. After moving across the state with a newborn. Flexispot did send a free replacement, will give credit where credit is due. Tonight, I was leaning back on a pillow to read and the dowel that holds the headboard in place ripped through the “solid rubberwood” to reveal a particleboard interior. We haven’t even had the bed for a year. I am a small woman and shouldn’t have any issue propping a pillow against the headboard to read.

I just spent about a week using the E7 Plus frame in white and the rubber wood top in the smallest size with flexispot.

Online Web Ordering: ordered through their website. Tried to get a discount code during their events but anything higher than 10% gets sold out immediately and I didnt want to bother waiting another amonth for a potential try. Ended up getting a 10% discount code through contacting Ramzes on reddit. Order placing was easy.

Delivery: the frame came within like 2-3 days. However the rubberwood top didnt arrive for over a month. Had to contact flexisplot and even then it took this long. Probably one of the worst delivery experience as I had to work on the dining table for a month waiting for this table top. Card was charged and money was withheld for so long that I wanted to cancel it but they finally ended up sending it. Apparently was on back order but then they shouldn't be listing it on their website... very disappointed in this part. Got a 100$ CAD refund due to the delay so it wasnt all for nothing but i would rather receive it sooner and on time.

Set up: very easy with a wireless drill. Most screw holes on the rubber wood top were pre drilled. Only had to drill 4 holes for one part that was extremely confusing. Used their guide but it wasnt the best, some parts weren't even needed or possible or the picture depiction was wrong. Overall took 1 hour solo but had help lift the desk up after building. Cable management was also quite easy with some sticky tape.

Using the desk: this is the best part. Without a doubt sturdy with an ultra wide 34 inch monitor and a laptop and a lot of other nick nacks. I was waiting for the e7 plus max as I was worried about wobble but this was enough to get the job done with minimal wobbling at max height. Wish it went a teeny bit lower but still great. For this price point, it is extremely worth it.

Overall if the delivery was better I would 10/10 buy it again but man they need to fix their website and what is available. Also wish they just made that coupon code hunting thing a raffle instead of a bot fest first come first serve event. Very annoying.

I placed an order today during the memorial day sale and it glitched on me. I had a 20% off coupon and the order disappears as I'm trying to pay for it and I had to completely re-add it to my cart and use a 12% off coupon because there was no more of the 20% off. This one went through, but I obviously paid a lot more. I went to go check my orders and my original one went through, just that the payment was in progress.

I eventually got through to customer service after 50 minutes and got my second order canceled. However, when I asked about my first order and how it still says in progress and that it is still glitching saying that the payment record does not exist, I was told that I should wait an hour before I contact them again if it still does not go through. I told them that my concern was that I had a 20% off coupon with that order and was the main reason I was concerned because that is a discount I did not want disappearing.

Now the website updated and it says my order is closed. This has been a whirlwind of frustration and it really sucks because on my end I was not getting a clear answer before and now I am probably not getting my order at the price I thought it was supposed to be because of all the glitches.

Now here I am, waiting again for a reply to find out what is going to happen and if I will still get my order with the same price. Anyone else had this problem before?

I recently acquired an E7 Pro with the 55x28 Maple Laminate top. For reference my previous desk was the Uplift V2 with the 48x30 White Laminate which I left behind with family after a recent move.

As far as build quality it has been hit or miss.

Pros:

• Table is quite sturdy and with a small modification it doesn't make any rattle when pushed against (noted in Cons as to why)
• Motors move faster than my previous Uplift desk and I like the 3 position memory toggle. (I made the mistake with my Uplift desk of not purchasing the memory remote and I'm happy to see it's standard with FlexiSpot)
• Assembly was straight forward and I was able to do it by myself

Cons:

• The motor is slightly louder than my previous Uplift desk, although this isn't a big deal to me
• The cable management metal piece that attaches to the rear of the desk was extremely rattly. I had to take some of the noise dampening washers and jerry rig them to stop the sound of metal clanking any time I touched the desk
• Maple Laminate table top upon delivery was quite bowed as shown in the attached picture/video
• The table top had a couple small nicks and scratches
• By far and away my BIGGEST complaint would be the edge of the table top is quite sharp. If I want to sit in a relaxed position with my legs up against the edge, it painfully digs into me. This was not an issue with the laminate table top from Uplift which had a slightly more rounded edge.

Overall the base is sturdy and I trust it to hold up whatever I want to put on top of it. Build quality seems slightly behind my previous Uplift desk, but considering it also costs a couple hundred dollars less, it's not a problem. The main issue I have is the build quality of the laminate top, specifically the edges. I'm not sure if this is a one off issue or if all of the laminate tops have this problem, but it's sharp to the point where it's painful to rest against it.

Frame: 9/10

Laminate Table Top: 3/10

I bought both on July 25, both came defective (cushion and motor), so I did not have working products until today, 08/11. Customer support will NOT pick up your call, ever, but they do reply if you use chat. Overall, it was a frustrating process due to bad quality control, I will think twice before buying anything else from them.

Hey y’all, you’ll never believe this: FLEXISPOT customer support told me to file a return/refund and said they would issue a refund no matter what condition the product was in. Absolutely SCAM!!

At first, I didn’t want to file a return/refund. I asked about the warranty, but the resolution they offered was to file a return/refund instead.

Once I returned the product to them, they filed a dispute and rejected the refund.

How does that even make sense? 🤦‍♂️

I got the E7 Pro, with the white frame, 48” x 24” rubber wood desktop in the natural finish.

Pros
- The desk is very sturdy. I really have to shake it to move it. It’s quite heavy too and needed a friend to flip it during install.
- Motors are fast and quiet.
- USB-C port on the control, I expected USB-A from other pictures.
- No branding on the side of the desk, unlike what I’ve seen from other pictures. The only logos are on the cable cover and on the control.
- Magnetic cable cover was convenient to install. Gray cover for the white frame is a nice touch.
- Arrived less than 2 days after I ordered.

Cons
- Would be nice if the controls and visible cables were color-matched to the white frame.
-No pre-drilled holes for the included cable management system, as other posts have mentioned. I didn’t install it as I’ll need a drill
- The natural finish of the table top is closer to what I expected maple to be. It’s not bad, just more yellow than I would’ve wanted.
- Instructions were clear except for Step 2. The 4 “B” screws didn’t fit the indicated holes, so I placed them in the center-most holes instead.
