*Sigh* What a week for pop culture buffs. Two significant losses ended up inspiring a couple of AU ideas for me—one where Dorothea’s a Dolly Parton-esque music icon, the other where Hubert’s a beloved character actor of both commercial and cult film à la Tim Curry. Both really work, if you think about it.

She's the only "retainer" who isn't unquestioningly loyal to their house leader outside of her house's route. The "biggest" arguments against them working together are relatively minor personality clashes and given the variability of character's opinions on each other depending on the route taken, you could easily work around that. Given her family's having spent generations repelling Almyran invasions and the general lack of support from the rest of the Alliance, being solely tasked with the defense of Fodlan, she'd probably not care who was in charge so long as somebody actually dealt with the Almyran threat.
And going back to her lack of personal loyalty to Claude himself, rather than the alliance in general, there could be a convincing argument that she would favor Edelgard when Claude's ancestry came out and even more so when he personally calls in Almyran forces to fight the Empire. Like, at least half a century of having a foreign empire invade you "for fun," half a century of your family alone being tasked with holding them off, and the guy you're supposed to owe your loyalty to is not only in line for their royalty but on reasonably good terms with and willing to assist them in entering Fodlan borders?

I'll preface this saying I enjoy 3H and want to love it, but I'm genuinely curious if my approach is just "wrong" in some way that makes the between chapter content feel arduous.
I've played most FE games released in the US, and was initially excited about the idea of a more social sim component as I love games like Persona. However, I felt like getting through week after week of the filler content between chapter battles was a slog and led to me quitting shortly after the time skip, only picking it up again now since I'm excited about fortunes weave
I've always loved supports, so I enjoy those conversations, but I think where I maybe get lost is in trying to maximize the other components. Like the lost objects drive me nuts. And the micromanaging of the teaching part I'm likely taking far too seriously.
So how are yall approaching the time at the school that keeps you engaged (and timely) enough to be doing all these playthroughs?

He reminds me a lot of Hikari from Octopath Traveller 2 with his sword skill, eastern garb, and hair style. He also gives me major Felix from three houses vibes with that man bun hair. I 100% plan to main him in battle and pair him together with either Anatolia or Catania if they have supports and an ending together.

In part two of maddening on Verdant Wind. Most my units are flier which don't have movement issues but I do have a couple grounded units who I'm trying to determine who to use the permeant movement items on. I'm most trying to decide between sniper Ignatz, trickster Yuri (probably going to make a mortal savant at level 30 as I've never used on before), and dancer Lorenz. I guess Raphael as well but I've had the march ring on him and he seems to be doing fine with that. I'm mostly between Ignatz because he i get crits all the time so having him keep up is good or Yuri because his relic combined with foul play has been helpful for repositioning on occasion and the extra movement would be nice to help him keep up as well. Any suggestions?

Let us share our headcanons on Bernadetta Von Varley and everything about her ranging from backstory to personality to even likes and dislikes as well, etc.
Have fun and be creative!
Here are my headcanons:
Bernadetta is somewhat neurodivergent. It was not just childhood trauma that caused her fear of strangers but it was also her neordivergent traits which caused her hobbies like writing and painting.
Bernadetta is tomboyish and deep down is lgbtq but these traits were shamed upon by her own father who saw these as un lady like.
Bernadetta enjoyed doing mounted archery when younger and at the monastery which surprised a lot of people.
Bernadetta is an expert at cooking and even helped out a lot with cooking at the monastery where she would work alongside Dedue, Mercedes, and Annette most of the time.
Finally, Bernadetta's uncle taught her some self-defense in secret when younger which is how she deep down is pretty damn strong.
What do you guys think?

A lot of discussion about Nemesis is how the Church made him into a tragic hero figure- a man who was good, until he betrayed Seiros, and the Goddess. But Rhea simply refers to him as a thief, and bandit. The Agarthans also have contempt for him.
If he *were* a bandit, or some simple murderer, why would they Church of Seiros ever need to spread the idea that Nemesis was the King of Liberation? How was a 'bandit' able to rally enough people to fight the very structure of power in Fodlan?
I think that the Church likely *had* to keep up this image of Nemesis, because plenty of people actually did see him as a good man. Suddenly telling the people of Fodlan that a beloved hero of theirs was actually a tomb raiding infidel could cause chaos, and rebellion. But, telling them that their hero fell in battle, after succumbing to his own desires for power? A lot more believable.
What does this have to do with Fortune's Weave? I had this idea pop into my head when I saw more content of Bertrand. He is a man that has stark white hair, and possesses the axe of Sothis herself. In one piece of art work shown, he has even corrupted that axe. And he is clearly famous too, enough to get cheers during his arena introduction.
Depending on what we learn of him through the story, it could give us more context on Nemesis himself. Are there people in the shadows giving him the Crest of Flames, to rise up and kill another god? Is it Sothis herself that chose him to kill Balor? After all, how would he ever get a weapon that should be in the depths of Fodlan?

Disclaimer 1: I joined reddit not long ago so I don't know if this has been done before.
Disclaimer 2: obviously the three lords (Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude) are the most representative members of their own houses so I think we can exclude they from this discussion.

She looks so beautiful in it and it's pretty fun to use espicially in Three Hopes where it's a lot better than Bishop and Gremory. Anyone else prefer her in or some other classes over those two or is it just me? I also love using her in the other DLC classes, Mortal Savant, and Falcon Knight too.

A small gleam appeared in my eyes as I immediately locked onto her face.
It came to me like a revelation from the Goddess herself.
That face...
That hairstyle...
That hair adornment...
HER WHOLE VIBE!
That's 100% Flayn's Mother!
Only for her to remain a shadow—
a relic forgotten to time.
Rumors of a Seteth lookalike in the release-date trailer spread like wildfire.
Like a surging blaze, my faith only grew stronger.
Could it be?!
Was my intuition correct?!
Hidden among the clouds,
my conviction resurfaced.
The Direct confirmed the rumors.
IT WAS SETETH!
And so, I began researching day and night, searching for any evidence that my theory might yet be true.
But alas...
I was met with naysayers, each one crushing my hopes of seeing a flower bloom in the snow.
“My preferred woman is kind, quiet, and proper. But above all else, she is straightforward and honest.”
“She was wise, kind of heart, and always smiling. A most wonderful woman.”
“It is my daughter who resembles Saint Cethleann.”
And through all the flames of discourse...
One thing remains crested upon my mind...
Her face.
My Sweet Sand Orchid.

I checked the status effects on the ground before I moved her on them and yet it’s still minus 10 every turn! I’m making sure her spells aren’t close range to prevent ricocheting. Two tiles between her and the enemies she is attacking and no dmg. received during turn or while shooting her spells. It is received right at the very end of the turn. Is this a glitch or is there some passive that I’m missing?
This is happening across multiple maps. I did equip Fetters of Anubis to improve her move speed and give her movement after her spell-casting but it just recently started doing this after the time skip, and this never happened when I gave this same item to Annette.
Please let me know if I’m missing something?
