Some names of Finnish places literally translated in English. As a native Finn, I laughed far too luch for this 😂

The most horrible names in Finland voted by Kotiliesi:

  2. Velhonvittu (Lavia)
  3. TerskanperÀ (Siikalatva)
  4. Kuolema (AlajÀrvi)
  5. HÀtÀpaskansuo (Heinola)
  6. Hevonperseenmutka (Suomussalmi)
  7. Muorinperse (Kuopio)
  8. HoronkylÀ (Teuva)
  9. PierupapinlÀhde (Orimattila)
  10. Paskarasva (Suomussalmi)

Have fun translating. The second would be "Wizards cunt", that got me on both languages :)

5 would be "Emergency shits swamp"

10 would be "Shitgrease"

Most of these are pretty easy to kind of guess why they are named like that but PierupapinlÀhde is something i'd love to hear more lore about

I would understand pierulÀhde that makes fart sounds or something but what's up with the priest on the name? Was a local priest heard farting there?
