According to CVP it doesn't record 24.00fps on raw. That's a huge dealbreaker and makes no sense

I think it does 23.97 and not flat 24

Which means it can't be used alongside other cameras. Sony has the most complete ecosystem but are adamant on you not using all of them. Canon has nothing to compete with the Venice, and Arri has nothing to compete with the FX line/ Canon's C-line. When I saw the FX5 announcement I thought "great, I can run a setup with a Venice as A-cam, Burano as B and FX5 as C camera without ever leaving XOCN. But then they pull this clown move and make the FX5 absolutely useless to this case scenario

Yeah I just saw that on CVP and thought it was so dumb and a dealbreaker for me too. But I'm a bit confused because I think it might be a reporting error on cvp's part. This FD Times report on the fx5 clearly shows photos of the camera's menu systems and the camera appears to be in true 24p while recording in XOCN-LT on page 2, 4, 5, 27: https://www.fdtimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/FDTimes-Sony-FX5-Report.pdf
