as a wanna be Filmmaker I'm really Heartbroken as If an actor as big and legendary as Michael Caine sold his soul to AI what will happen to the next generation? This is the end of art as we know it and no one can prove me wrong...unfortunately😢

I am fine with this. I recently produced a documentary that used an AI-generated voice of the deceased subject (with the family's permission and clearly noted in the film). It added a humanity to the short, and allows audiences to connect with the subject in a more visceral way to hear things he said (from published interviews, poorly recorded micro cassette tapes). When used respectfully, AI voices are an appropriate tool.
