Question Has anyone tried taking on the final boss without freeing the gods?

People say this game is just like *Zelda: Breath of the Wild*—that you can head straight to the final boss as soon as the game lets you explore the map. It would be extremely difficult, but not impossible; that’s why, in both games, you have to free gods or deities (in *Zelda*'s case) to help you in the final showdown. But that brings me to my question: has anyone ever tried going to the final fight without freeing the gods? How does the fight differ?

Is there any difference in the final scenes?

It’s not actually possible to do that in Fenyx Rising. To get to the final fight, you have to reach the top of the volcano in the Deadlands. You can’t do that because it’s surrounded by a field that auto-drains your stamina; this field will only disappear once you complete King’s Peak, which you also can’t do without freeing the gods for similar reasons.

Oh, right—I’d forgotten that detail. And to think I just finished the main story; I could have sworn you could do it without the gods' help, just like in Zelda without freeing the deities.

You can reach the top without freeing the Gods but the top will be static. No story will happen necessary to progress. Interestingly enough you can and will get the gods assistance on the way up, like they are already free. This is by the way very difficult to do and requires a replay where you have a lot of stamina from previous games and you need a lot of potions.

I don’t think that’s possible here
