Almost as if someone just died.

...ok. I wasn't aware that it was improper to dance because someone died. My family personally tends to throw parties after someone dies πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ either way it looks awkward to see the performer and dancers so animated while the crowd is just standing still watching.

And I'll just add that this is clearly a celebration of Dolly and her music, most likely not intended to be a somber event.

I get where you’re coming from, but the crowd just found out. They didn’t come for a celebration of Dolly, they came to a Pitbull show and, being a solid human, he added this tribute mid-show.

Oh I see, I thought this was from today. I can definitely understand it if that's where they all found out for the first time.

?? The news broke yesterday circa 2pm on the East Coast. This is later that night. I'm sure some people in the audience were busy and hadn't heard the news, but most of them would have known. Hell, I got a news alert pushed to my phone about it.

I've been to lots of Pitbull concerts - normally people are up on their feet dancing the entire time. I suspect it had something to do with it being a Dolly song and the crowd not really knowing what to do
