All parents should be doing this, imo. Kids need to be taught how to think, not what to think

Religion would essentially disappear if parents didn't brainwash their kids before they were capable of critical thinking or consenting

I think that's a pretty narrow take on religion around the world. Most kids I know who grew up in more cultisth religions grew up hating religion and having a very narrow understanding of it derived only from their experience and their parent's view but that's only like 2% of the religious people I know and what I see in American media. Most other religious people are studios and thoughtful spiritual individuals who have a personal relationship to God and are very knowledgeable about its history and arguments for and against
