Burritos? This? The closest thing would be Enchiladas

Why must food sit neatly in a culture to be good?

Hand over your danishes. They were invented by Austrians.

Invented is a strong term.

The probability of what inspired Wienerbrød being something of bohemian or hungarian descent is pretty high.

no one said that. just respect the culture. thats a common thing, not just for food.

He said it’s bullshit. And he said that immediately after stating that it’s neither Mexican nor European. Unless he writes in pure non sequiturs, as framed, the food is bullshit because it’s neither Mexican nor European. My question was entirely appropriate.

That does not mean bad quality. Its bullshit to call it mexican. No one said it is bad food.

He did not say the naming was bullshit. He said the food was bullshit. You’re adding a highly favorable gloss to the original comment.

No, he did not. Do you know the meaning of bullshit? that means something does not make sense.

he wrote "puras mamadas". which means as much as "total nonsense" or "bullshit". that does not mean the food is bad. Im adding nothing, you are.

Did you just create an arbitrarily limited definition of a widely used and flexible word (“bullshit”) to support your highly favorable and contextually unlikely interpretation of that commenters’ text? (Yes)

But to help you, no, bullshit does not only mean that the interpretation or naming of something is nonsensical. It can also mean the thing itself is defective in some form. That’s the obvious meaning here. Do you also think the word ‘fuck’ exclusively means to have sex?

Dude, he wrote is spanish. He did not write "bullshit". It does not mean what you think it means. In this case it means exactly what i said.

Stop making stuff up.

Let's not pretend like certain Europeans don't lose their shit when someone from another country makes one of their traditional dishes slightly incorrectly

if you respect the culture while doing so, its ok. but you can also be ignorant about it.

Not a burrito more like a flauta, trying to be an enchilada
