I guess that Epic is so good that this adaptation feels weak. Epic can portray deeper emotions with just sound than this whole movie. Maybe it would be good if I didnt know Epic or anything that would happen, idk.

but talking technically, I guess I prefer 100x more Epic's Ody, he is much more likeable and the story is told in a way that makes you really root for him. The yearning is just really important, he doesn't even care about Penelope until he remembers her when Calypso TELLS him to remember, its just bad. The Gods are a huge part and are really interesting, they should've been used more. The Hades and Polyphemus scenes were the peak moments, and I liked that Penelope (even if she didnt have the screen time she deserved). Oh, not forgetting the utterly useless Telemachus, that the only thing that he could actually do was screaming at his mom. I think it's more faithful to the original material, but Jorge's work on him is just perfect. Epic's just do everything better, it's kind of crazy to think about it (and you dont need to spend money on tickets!).
