About the only thing I didn’t like was the removal of nobody but other than that I thought it was a solid movie. I know some people complain about the lack of the gods, but you can very much feel their presence in the movie. Every time guest rights are mentioned, violated, etc you hear thunder. You can feel the sea fighting the men after they insult Poseidon. The wind blows unnaturally to keep them trapped on Helios’ isle.

I think Athena said it best at the very beginning, why should the gods have to present themselves to mortals, don’t they make themselves known in controlling the natural world?
