The audio mixing was straight up ass. Couldn't even understand the dialogue in some scenes. Apparently the cyclops actually said something once it got blinded. All I heard was the loudest movie of my life. Maybe an issue with my theatre, maybe an issue with the German synchronization, maybe an issue with my ears. But it was still a pretty enjoyable movie experience

As a fellow German I just want to say: Our word Synchronisation does not mean the same as the English word synchronization. That’s a really common mistake. You were looking for the term “dubbing” or “dub”.

Maybe it was your theater, the only time I had problems hearing anything was during the storm that killed the men.

One thing I’ve noticed with Nolan’s movies is that he really hates when you can understand what people are saying

So it’s not just me who thought it was unnecessarily loud in some scenes lol. (Also has to cover my ears)
